Für den Betrieb von Acetylen-Sauierstoff-Schweißbrennern hat sich als. vorteülhaft erwiesen, daß die beiden Gase dem Brenner unter gleichem Druck bis -zur Mischkammer zugeführt werden. Es sind ein. Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung bekannt geworden, durch welche diese Druckgleichheit zwangsläufig erzielt wird. Es hat sich jedoch der Mangel herausgestellt, daß bei Schweißereibetrieben, welche mehr als 'eine Schweißstelle unternalten, die hierzu erforderliche Vorrichtung an jeder einzelnen dieser Stellen angebracht werden muß, weil bei verschiedenen zu schweißenden Metallen auch verscbiedefle^aach- Bedarf wechselnde Druckhöhen für den Betrieb der verschiedenen Brenner erforderlich sind. Die Erfindung bezweckt, diesen Mangel dadurch zu beheben, daß die Druckgleichheit der beiden Gase- an einer zentralen Stelle eingestellt wird, und daß alsdann an jeder einzelnen Verbrauchsstelle eine Drosselvorrichtung benutzt wird, durch welche der zentral hergestellte Gleichdruck zwangsläufig und gleichwertig für beide Gase auf den für den einzelnen Brenner benötigten, Betriebsdruck nach Bedarf gemindert wird, so daß beide Gase unter diesem geminderten Gleichdruck der Mischkammer des Brenners zufließen.
