Trockenbeizmittel Für die Trockenbeize werden Fungizide verschiedenster
Art verwendet.
Dry pickling agents Fungicides are used for dry pickling

It has now been found that the problem of dusting the dry dressing agent can be remedied in an extremely simple manner by adding small amounts of C51. For example, a mixture of this type, suitable as a dry pickling agent, consisting of 30 parts of copper carbonate, 30 parts of resin sulfate, 5 parts of phenylarsinic acid and 32 parts of kieselguhr, can be changed in its properties by adding 3 parts of C51 in such a way that it still retains an extremely fine distribution and is therefore suitable for a completely uniform impregnation of the seed, but on the other hand has completely lost its highly dusting properties, while at the same time the ability of the dressing agent to adhere to the seed is affected in an extremely favorable manner. In the same way, a mercury-containing agent or other compound fungicides can be mixed with C) 1 and the highly dusting properties thereof can be eliminated without reducing the effectiveness of the agent. With such a dry dressing agent impregnated with C51, which no longer has any dusting properties, the dry dressing can even be carried out simply without using any pickling apparatus. B. 50 kg of wheat seeds, the appropriate amount of dry dressing, z. B. 150 g, poured out and by subsequent shoveling of the grain pile exactly as it was carried out in the previous wetting process, a distribution of the dressing agent with the grain.

It has also been proposed to use calcium cyanamide seeds

To increase additives, for example tar oil is mentioned. For these purposes it is
the addition of small amounts of tar oil as in the present dry dressing process
completely unsuitable, and since it is a wet process, that's one of the reasons
a comparison with the present proceedings is excluded.
