Kupplungskomponente besitzen.Process for the preparation of azo dyes In the German patent specification
293 429 a process has been described by which azo dyes are finite
the Acetessgsäurechloridrest, which in turn according to the regulations of the German patent
287_ 569 can be represented, reacts with aliphatic or aromatic amines, with
then dyes arise which are called an acetoacetic alkylainide or acetoacetic aryl amide
Have coupling component.
Beispiel i 3ö4 Gewichtsteile
geringem Anwärmen in Lösung gebracht.
Beispiel
2-Nitro-q.-toluol.-i-azoacetes,sigsäurechlori!d (Schmelzpunkti 57.°) in q.2oo Gewichtsteilen
Chlorbenzol einlaufen.
It has now been found that the acetoacetic chloride azo dyes mentioned can also be reacted with arylamine sulfonic acids and their derivatives, which can advantageously be reacted beforehand with a suitable solvent such as pyridine or quinoline, which also neutralizes the hydrochloric acid formed during the reaction Brought a solution. The result is then sulfated in the acetoacetic arylide radical and therefore, in contrast to the products of the cited patent, water-soluble mono dyes which, precipitated as colored lacquers, have full, extremely clear, lightfast and waterfast, yellow to orange shades in the glue coat. The new products are also distinguished by the fact that they dye the wool in very clear and level, especially mill-fast and light-fast colors. EXAMPLE 15.4 parts by weight of the chloride prepared from the dye 4-chloro-2-nitrobenzene-i-azoacetoacetic acid and having a melting point of 154 'are dissolved in about 15 times the amount by weight of chlorobenzene with slight warming. A solution, also at 30 °, of 203 parts by weight of 2-anisine-4-sulfonic acid in about 15 times the amount by weight of pyridine is allowed to run into the solution, which has cooled to about 30 ° again, with thorough stirring. The temperature of the reaction mixture rises by about 5 °. The dye soon begins to separate itself; and after a while it can be separated from the broth by suction. It is best treated in a soda-alkaline slurry with steam and freed from any remaining pyridine and chlorobenzene. When the aqueous solution cools, the product crystallizes out in reddish-yellow crystals. When dissolved and precipitated on the substrate in the usual way, the dye forms a clear, reddish-tinged yellow colored varnish which, when applied by glue, has excellent waterfastness and excellent lightfastness. The dye is also of interest for wool dyeing, as it dyes the wool in whackfast and extremely lightfast yellow shades with excellent leveling power. Example 2 207.5 parts by weight of 4-chloroaniline-3 = sulfo acid are dissolved at about 50 ° with twice the amount by weight of pyridine. A 30 ° warm dissolution of 283.5 parts by weight of the dye 2-nitro-q.-toluene-i-azoacetes, sigsäurechlori! D (melting point 57 °) in q.2oo parts by weight of chlorobenzene is allowed to run into this solution with thorough stirring . The condensation product begins to separate out immediately and can be obtained from the cooled reaction mixture by suction filtration. In a soda-alkaline, aqueous suspension, freed from adhering pyridene and chlorobenzene by means of steam, the dye crystallizes in greenish-yellow crystals. the end. The colored varnish prepared from it has a clear, greenish-yellow shade and, when applied with glue, has excellent waterfastness and very good lightfastness. Walle is colored by the dye in good mill and lightfast, very level, greenish yellow shades.
