Druckluft-Augen-Schutzbrille Die Erfindung betrifft eine Augenschutzbrille gegen Gase, Nebel, Staub o. dgl. mit Hilfe einer besonders erzeugten Luftschicht, die durch ununterbrochenes Ausspritzen von Druckluft gebildet wird. Bekannten ähnlichen Brillen gegenüber unterscheidet sich der Gegenstand der Erfindung dadurch, daß für jedes Auge eine besondere Ausspritzdose angeordnet ist und daß die beiden Dosen einer Brille nicht miteinander durch eine Rohrleitung verbunden sind, ferner dadurch, daß jedes Auge für sich durch ein weiches Gummigehäuse abschließbar ist. Die Schutzbrille besteht in der Hauptsache aus zwei Augenmuscheln a aus elastischem Stoff, z. B. aus weichem Gummi. In letztere sind starre Ringdosen b aus Metall mit umlaufenden Schlitzdüsen g herausnehmbar eingefügt, aus denen ständig Druckluft strömt. Diese Düsen sind zusammen mit den Augenmuscheln so gestaltet, daß die Augen keiner Zugluft ausgesetzt sind. Die Druckluft wird in das Gummiohr e eingeblasen; sie verteilt sich in die beiden Schlauchzweige d und tritt durch Anschlußsiutzen c in jede Ringdose ein. Die Luft füllt zunächst deren Hohlringe f und entströmt in Richtung der gezeichneten Pfeile aus den umlaufenden Schlitzdüsen. Jede Augenmuschel hat außen eine ringsum laufende Nut i, die zur Aufnahme eines Bandes la o. dgl. dient, so daß beide Augenmuscheln in der richtigen Entfernung voneinander gehalten werden. Die Schutzbrille kann außerdem mit Glasscheiben versehen werden, die zwischen den Gehäusen und den Ringdosen hinter letzteren eingeklemmt werden, in der Zeichnung aber nicht dargestellt sind. Diese Glas- oder Zellhornscheiben sollen so viel Spielraum haben, daß eine gute Entlüftung der zwischen Augen und Gläsern liegenden Innenräume stattfinden kann.The goggles mainly consist of two eyecups a made of elastic material, e.g. B. made of soft rubber.
