Das Wesen der Erfindung besteht darin, daß der Schmelzdraht an der Schmelzstelle mit einer Leuchtmasse bestrichen ist. Gegenüber bekannten Sicherungsstöpseln, bei welchem die Leuchtmasse im Innern einer durchsichtigen Abdeckscheibe angebracht wird und beim Durchbrennen vermittels der entstehenden Dämpfe unwirksam gemacht werden soll, hat die vorliegende Anordnung den Vorteil:, daß, sie nicht an die Benutzung eines staubförmigen, beim Schmelzen Dämpfe hervorrufenden Leiters gebunden ist. Außerdem hat die bekannte Vorrichtung den Nachteil, daß die Leuchtmasse auch nach dem Auftreten der Dämpfe auf der nach dem Beschauer gerichteten Seite wirksam bleiben kann, die Anordnung also unzuverlässig ist. Ferner ist die Herstellung der Vorrichtung nach. der Erfindung wesentlich einfacher als die Herstellung der bekann en Sicherung, weil das Aufbringen der Leuchtmasse an der fast fertigen Patrone erfolgen kann, die sich leicht handhaben läßt.Electrical fuse plug, in which the state of the melting body is indicated by a luminous material.
