Process for white or colored etching of acetyl cellulose containing
Fabrics It is known that those used for etching dyeings on cotton, wool,
Silk, etc. used sodium sulfoxylate etching, unsuitable for acetyl cellulose.
Because of this, a large and important number of patterns can currently appear
Substances that consist entirely or partially of acetyl cellulose cannot be achieved.
It has been found that: the addition of sulfocyanides to sodium sulfoxylate etches
a complete reduction of all etchable dyes to containing acetyl cellulose
Tissues. The sulfocyanides of calcium, barium and ammonium are for this
suitable, without the process being limited thereto.
auf i 1 ,enthält, ,aufgelöst.
Gewicht, die annähernd 762 g Calciumsulfocyanid in i 1 enthalten,
Azo dyes, which are particularly suitable for dyeing acetyl cellulose, such as the methyl omega-sulfonic acids of the azo dyes with a free amino group, obtained by treating them with formaldehyde and sodium bisulfite, as well as the insoluble azo dyes indicated with the aid of sulforicinoleic acid, which, however, do not suffice the usual discharge printing pastes, which contain sodium sulphoxylate, are completely white-etchable if sulphocyanides are added. The generation of colored etchings using basic dyes is correspondingly improved by adding sulfocyanides to the colored discharge printing pastes. Example i A fabric made of cotton and acetyl cellulose is dyed in the usual way with Diazo brown 3G0 (Color Index 273) and then with a discharge printing ink; which is produced as follows, printed: 15 g of sodium sulfoxylate are dissolved in 70 g of gum tragacanth solution containing 30 g of gum tragacanth on i 1, dissolved. When the solution is complete, iog calcium sulfocyanide solution of 1.44 spec. Weight containing approximately 762 grams of calcium sulfocyanide in i 1 added. After printing on the fabric, it is dried and then aired for 3 to 5 minutes in the Mather and Platt rapid ventilation machine at 100 ". The fabric is then washed in water at 60 ° for 3 minutes and dried. Example A fabric consisting of acetyl cellulose; e , is colored in the usual way with the formaldehyde bisulfite compound of 3-nitro-4! -aminoazobenzene and then diazotized and developed with (3-naphthol in the usual way. It is then printed and post-treated in the manner described in Example i .
Example 3 A cast fabric made of acetyl cellulose is used in the
usual way with 4-nitrobenzolazodiphenylamine, made into a paste with the aid
of sulforicinoleic acid, colored and then printed and applied to the example i
post-treated manner described. Example ¢ One made of acetyl cellulose: e
Fabric is dyed, printed and, as described in example i, post-treated,
with the modification that thionine blue GO (Color Index No. 9a6) is the discharge printing ink
is added.
