Wasserdichtes Schuhwerk Die Erfindung betrifft ein wasserdichtes Schuhwerk
mit-an ihrem Rande hochgebogener Brandsohle. Gemäß der Erfindung ist das Oberleder
an der Außenseite des hochgebogenen Randes der Brandsohle angeklebt und um die untere
Lippe der in bekannter Weise gespaltenen Brandsohle so weit herumgelegt, daß die
das Oberleder in bekannter Weise mit der Brandsohle verbindende Naht überdeckt wird.
Bei Verwendung einer ungespaltenen, an ihrem Rande hochgebogenen Brandsohle wird
auf deren Unterseite ein nach außen überstehender Lederrahmen aufgelegt oder neben
der Brandsohle ein Lederriemen angeordnet, um die das Oberleder wieder so weit herumgelegt
wird, daß die den Rahmen bzw. den Riemen mit der Brandsohle und dem Oberleder verbindende

ist. Alsdann wird das Oberleder b über einen an der Brandsohle a befestigten
Lederstreifen l gelegt, so daß der Überstand y des Oberleders die Nahtlöcher f überdeckt
und ein Eindringen von Nässe allseitig auf diese Art beseitigt ist. Es läßt sich
alsdann an dem Lederstreifen l die Laufsohle durch Naht g befestigen. Dieselbe kann

geklebt ist, zurückgeschlagen wird, um alsdann in dieser Lage durch das Mitannähen
eines Lederstreifens m an die Brandsohle a durch Naht f befestigt zu werden.
Alsdann wird der Überstand y des Oberleders b über den Lederstreifen m gelegt, wodurch
gleichzeitig ein Schonungsrand geschaffen ist, welcher das Oberleder gegen Beschädigungen
sichert. Die Nahtlöcher f werden auch hier durch den Überstand y überdeckt und ein
Eindringen der- Nässe von unten verhindert.
