Description

Stroh- oder Bastschuh und Verfahren zu seiner Herstellung Die Erfindung betrifft einen Stroh- bzw. Bastschuh und ein Verfahren zur Herstellung desselben. Derartige Stroh- oder Bastschuhe sind an sich bekannt. Die bekannten Strohschuhe sind jedoch ausnahmslos plump und unschön und außerdem wenig haltbar, so daß sie schon nach kurzer Zeit verschlissen und untragbar werden. Diese Nachteile beseitigt die vorliegende Erfindung. Sie besteht darin, daß aus Stroh bzw. Bast in feuchtem Zustand geflochtene feine Bänder auf ein Futter aus haltbarem, leichtem Stoff, wie Leinen oder schmiegsamvem Leder, aufgenäht werden, in der Weise, daß die Bänder sich entweder etwas übergreifen oder eng ohne Zwischenrauen bündig aneinanderliegen. Aus dem so vorbereiteten Material wird dann der Oberteil des Schuhes hergestellt, indem das Material noch in feuchtem Zustand über den Leisten gezogen und durch Nägel mit der Brandsohle verbunden wird.Straw or bast shoe and process for its manufacture The invention relates to a straw or bast shoe and a method for producing the same.
