Description

Gegenstand der Erfindung ist eine Vorrichtung zur Befestigung künstlicher Nisthöhlen an Bäumen.The invention relates to a device for fastening artificial nesting holes on trees.

Man ist daher dazu übergegangen, die Nisthöhlen auf Holzleisten und diese durch Schraubennägel an den Bäumen zu befestigen, wobei die Nägel durch beiderseits eisenarmierte Löcher der Leiste durchgehen, so daß "ihre Köpfe nicht durch die Löcher hindurchgezogen werden können. Dieselben bieten, zwar guten Halt, haben aber den Nachteil, daß 'die Nistkasten, einmal befestigt, ohne Zerstörung der Leisten und Beschädigung des Baumes nicht wieder abgenommen werden können. In Anwendung bei Holznistkästeii ergibt sich ferner der Nachteil, daß nach Vermorschung der wenig widerstandsfähigen Nisthöhle und Herabfallen derselben die zurückbleibende Leiste selten gefunden wird, dieselbe schließlich auch verrottet und abfällt und dann die Eisenteile in dem sie überwuchernden Holz ganz verschwinden.
