Description

Gegenstand der Erfindung ist eine künstliche Nisthöhle für Höhlenbrüter, wie sie im Freien als Ersatz für die fehlenden natürlichen Nistgelegenheiten an Bäumen u. dgl. aufgehängt werden. Aus Holz hergestellte Nisthöhlen dieser Art haben sich nicht bewährt, weil sie, auch wenn imprägniert, der Witterung nicht standhalten und häufig reißen. Man hat daher für die Herstellung der Nisthöhlen bereits eine Anzahl anderer Materialien verwendet, wie Pappe, Ebonitplatten, Ton, Zement o. dgl. Keiner dieser Versuche hat bisher Erfolg gehabt.
