Die Erfindung betrifft eine Brühgetränkekanne, insbesondere eine Kaffeekanne einer elektrischen Kaffeemaschine, mit einem Krug aus Glas oder Keramik und einem daran befestigten Handgriff. Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine Kanne der eingangs beschriebenen Art zu schaffen, die bei geringem Fertigungsaufwand einen dauerhaft am Krug befestigten, wärmeisolierenden Handgriff aufweist. Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäss dadurch gelöst, dass eine separate Befestigungsplatte aus Kunststoff mit dem Krug verklebt ist, an der dann der eigentliche Handgriff z. B. durch eine Rastverbindung befestigt ist. Diese Lösung hat den Vorteil, dass die kleinen Dimensionen der Befestigungsplatte die Herstellung der Klebeverbindung erleichtern. An der kleinen und einfach geformten Befestigungsplatte können ferner in die Klebstoffschicht mündende Lüftungskanäle fertigungsgemäss einfach hergestellt werden. Der eigentliche Handgriff kann dann eine Abdeckung für die freien Enden der Lüftungskanäle aufweisen. Die Aufteilung in die Befestigungsplatte und den eigentlichen Handgriff ergibt mit einfachen unkomplizierten Teilen eine optisch einwandfreie Abdeckung der Klebeverbindung bzw. der dafür erforderlichen Lüftungskanäle. Die Lüftungskanäle machen es möglich, einen auf Glas oder Porzellan gut haftenden Kleber wie z.B. einen Einkomponenten-Silikonkleber zu verwenden, der zu seiner Aushärtung den Zutritt der Umgebungsluft und Umgebungsfeuchtigkeit benötigt. Anstelle einer Befestigungsplatte aus Kunststoff kann auch eine Befestigungsplatte aus Glas oder Porzellan verwendet werden, an der dann ein Handgriff aus Kunststoff befestigt wird. Diese Lösung, für die ein selbständiger Schutz beansprucht wird hat den Vorteil, dass der eigentliche Krug eine einfachste Formgebung aufweist und leicht maschinell hergestellt werden kann und die Klebeverbindung zwischen zwei Teilen gleichen oder ähnlichen Materials hergestellt ist, so dass der Klebstoff optimal diesem Material angepasst sein kann. Die separate Befestigungsplatte aus Glas oder Porzellan besitzt wesentlich kleinere Dimensionen als der Glaskrug und kann somit mit relativ kleinen Toleranzen hergestellt werden, was die Ausbildung der Verbindung mit dem eigentlichen Handgriff erleichtert.
