Handles. - Each end of the handle b of a teapot, saucepan, kettle, or the like is made to dip below the point of attachment c to form a bend d, the bend at the 'upper end being of V-shape. When the handle is hollow, air-holes g may be provided. The construction is stated to prevent the handle from becoming hot in use.
