Method for filling the cavity between the insole and the outsole
in footwear It has long been known that the cavity between the insole and the outsole
for footwear with elastic, solid components such as felt, cork discs, tar felt,
or with powdered or crushed material, such as crushed cork, leather flour. in connection
to be filled in with an adhesive binder.
Harzen, Asphalt, Gummi, Acetylcellulose, Celluloid usw. Diese Bindemittel besitzen
jedoch große Nachteile. Die auf wäßriger Basis hergestellten Bindemittel, z. B.
The following are used as adhesive binders: solutions of hot and cold glue,
Resins, asphalt, rubber, acetyl cellulose, celluloid, etc. These binders possess
however, major disadvantages. The aqueous based binders such. B.
Cold glue. dry slowly; there is also always the risk of mold growth.
Adhesives made from.-Lsplialt, resin and rubber have the disadvantage that they do
The filling volume produced is softened by the warmth of the feet and consequently changes
shifts slightly, thereby losing the uniform thickness of the filler layer
and the dreaded agglomeration occurs in individual places. Celluloid solutions
and cellulose compounds have the disadvantage that the filling layer is hard and inelastic
«-Ird, so that the front of the shoe becomes stiff, what their use for good
It has now been found that mixtures of rubber and cellulose derivatives
with the help of a solvent suitable for both components while at the same time
Addition of gelatinizing and / or softening agents dissolved, with suitable
diluted with easily flowing agents and mixed with fillers, an excellent one
Mass for balling out footwear. Such a mass has the advantages
which the rubber gives the ballin mass, namely a permanent high suppleness,
while their content of cellulose esters prevents a strong warmth from the feet
Softening and thereby shifting and agglomeration of the mass takes place.
