Den Gegenstand der Erfindung bildet ein Kopierrahmen zum Aufkopieren von Text oder Bildern auf konvexe Zylinderoberflächen, insbesondere von Tiefdruckformzylindern. Kopierrahmen, bei denen das Kopiergut mittels einer luftdichten Decke, deren Randwülste Hohlräume einschließen, aus denen die Luft abgesaugt wird, gegen ihre Unterlage gedrückt wird, sind bereits bekannt. Diese Kopierrahmen dienen jedoch zum Kopieren auf die Innenfläche eines während der Belichtung unbewegten Hohlzylinders. Eine solche ortsfeste Anordnung hätte aber beim Kopieren auf eine konvexe Zylinderoberfläche den Nachteil, daß man die Lichtquelle um den Zylinder kreisend anordnen müßte. Erfindungsgemäß begegnet man dieser Schwierigkeit dadurch, daß man den Zylinder beim Belichten um seine Längsachse rotieren läßt und die Luft durch eine mitrotierende Saugleitung aus dem Rahmen entfernt, die mit einer Längsbohrung der Zylinderspindel verbunden ist.The subject of the invention is a copy frame for copying text or images on convex cylinder surfaces, in particular of gravure forme cylinders. Der zu kopierende Film α wird, wie die Abb. 3 zeigt, auf dem Zylinder b leicht lösbar befestigt. Außerhalb der Ränder dieses Films werden die Gummileisten c des Rahmens in solcher Weise aufgelegt, wie dies Abb. ι zeigt, wobei die beiden mit der Achse des Zylinders parallel verlaufenden Leisten c mit der Hand oder in anderer Weise zusammengehalten werden. Hierauf wird mit Hilfe der Saugleitung d die Luft aus den Hohlräumen e der Gummileisten c abgesaugt. Dabei entweicht auch die zwischen der Folie f, dem Film α und der Oberfläche des Zylinders b befindliche Luft, so daß sowohl der Film α wie auch die Gummileisten c von der Außenluft vollkommen glatt auf die Zylinderoberfläche aufgepreßt werden. Eine Verzerrung des auf die lichtempfindliche Schicht aufzukopierenden Bildes erscheint daher ausgeschlossen.
