The one which forms the subject of the invention and is provided with a refractory lining
The casting trough is particularly intended for centrifugal casting. While at the interface
With the liquid metal the thermal conductivity of the lining is low, it decreases
towards the outer jacket through admixture increasing from the inside to the outside
of crushed metal too. File shavings are best suited for this. Such a lining
can be produced in a simple manner in that it is applied in layers to its metallic carrier.
The addition of filings in the layers increases from the inside out. In general
three layers will be enough. The outer layer expediently consists of filings with a very small addition
refractory goods, where any binder can be added. In the
The two ingredients are mixed in roughly equal proportions, and the second layer
the third layer that comes in contact with the liquid metal is the largest
Parts made of refractory materials. The thickness of the different layers, their number and
their mixing ratios with the chips can be based on tests for the
determine the respective application. Such a launder is at the point of contact
reliably refractory with the liquid metal and has an outwardly increasing thermal conductivity
on. The lining is expediently reinforced by a metal reinforcement. This is best done through
a metal of high thermal conductivity, e.g. B '. Copper or the like, so that the reinforcement
involved in heat dissipation.
Die Zeichnung stellt ein Ausführungsbeispiel
des Erfindungsgegenstandes dar. Abb. 1 ist ein TeiUängsschnitt, Abb. 2 eine Hälfte
des Querschnitts. The drawing represents an embodiment
of the subject matter of the invention. Fig. 1 is a partial longitudinal section, Fig. 2 is a half
of the cross section.
The essentially V-shaped metal channel b , which is equipped with the lining c , is mounted in a known manner in the outer support body, which is shaped like a circle. The lining is carried out in the manner indicated above.
liegen. Die Bewehrung besteht aus einzelnen Metallstiften d (zweckmäßig aus KupferFig. 2 indicates that the metal chips are closest to the metal channel δ. The reinforcement consists of individual metal pins d (expediently made of copper
o. The like.), which are secured in their position in a simple manner by screwing into the bores of the metal channel b. The pins d extend through the channel b into the cavities e formed between it and the outer part. In the two cavities of the pouring channel, pipes / tubes are mounted in a manner known per se, which supply coolant (water or air) to the cavities e through appropriately arranged openings. At the bottom of the metal channel δ is another pipe ^ g · which also supplies water or air for cooling purposes and can be connected to the cavities e through suitable openings. The device can also be operated in such a way that the coolant is supplied, for example, through the pipe g and discharged again through the pipes /, or vice versa.
Schleuderguß, sondern stets dann mit Vorteil %a
Due to the explained heat distribution and external cooling, the casting can be kept permanently at a temperature that allows accelerated work. The service life of the pouring channel, which fails relatively easily and causes only low maintenance costs, appears to be almost unlimited. The Qießrinne is not just for spin casting, but always be used advantageously% a when a prolonged flow of liquid metal out of the question.
