vielen Ländern oder Städten zugleich anzeigt und eine sofortige Übersicht der Zeitunterschiede

Zeit, die Ortszeit der anderen Städte der Erde angibt, und zwar dient als gemeinschaftlicher
Zeiger eine dünne an der Trommel entlanglaufende Schiene S oder ein dünner Draht,
woneben die Schilder mit den für die jeweilige Einteilung in Betracht kommenden
Ortsnamen angebracht sind. Die Einteilung der Trommel ist so gehalten, daß die Schiene
S, die den gemeinschaftlichen Zeiger bildet, die Ortszeit aller neben der Trommel
bezeichneten Städte zu gleicher Zeit anzeigt. Die Uhr kann auch ohne gewöhnliches
Zifferblatt, also nur mit .der Trommel hergestellt werden. Der Antrieb der Trommel
braucht .auch nicht durch ein Kegelgetriebe K, wie in der Zeichnung veranschaulicht
ist, erfolgen, sondern kann durch ein Spezialuhrwerk oder auch auf elektrischem
