Nach dem Patent 259 37o entstehen bei der Einwirkung von oxydierenden Mitteln auf Dibenzanthron neue Körper, die sich in Reduktionsprodukte überführen lassen. Diese Abkömmlinge des Dibenzanthrons lassen sich durch Erhitzen, zweckmäßig mit höher siedenden Lösungs- oder Suspensionsmitteln, bei Anwesenheit von Kondensationsmitteln gemäß Patentschrift 26o 02o in schöne grüne Küpenfarbstoffe überführen. Die Echtheitseigenschaften-dieser Farbstoffe können. nach Angabe der Patentschrift 28071o durch Behandeln mit Brom während oder nach der Herstellung noch verbessert werden.Process for the preparation of green dyes of the benzanthrone series. Aus der Trichlorbenzollösung scheidet sich der Farbstoff, erforderlichenfalls nach dem Konzentrieren, in metallisch glänzenden Kristallen ab.
