Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung pharmazeutischer und diätetischer Präparate in kugelähnlicher Form. Die Verwendung pharmazeutischer oder diätetischer Stoffe in Tabletten-, Pillen- oder Kapselform führt sich immer mehr ein, weil besonders unangenehme Arzneimittel sich in diesen Formen leicht verabreichen lassen. Die Herstellung von Tabletten, Pillen, Kapseln ist sehr umständlich, schwierig und zeitraubend. Besonders konnten ölige Arzneimittel, wie Rizinusöl, Lebertran u. dgl., bisher überhaupt nicht tablettiert oder in Pillenform gebracht werden. Man konnte solche öle nur in Form von Gelatinekapseln einnehmen, wenn die reine Flüssigkeit Übelkeit verursacht. Bei solchen Kapseln liegt aber die Gefahr vor, daß sie im Munde zergehen, aufweichen oder zerdrückt werden, so daß das Medikament den Patienten belästigt.Process for the manufacture of pharmaceutical and dietetic preparations in a spherical shape. Diese Schwierigkeiten sollen nach der Erfindung dadurch beseitigt werden, daß man wasserunlösliche Arzneistoffe, Nährstoffe o. dgl. in gelatinierenden Kplloiden, z. 13. einer Gelatinelösung, emulgiert und die erhaltenen Gemische nach einem geeigneten Verfahren, z. B. demjenigen nach den Patenten 296 522, 298 386, 302 853, durch Eintropfenlassen in Flüssigkeiten, wie Benzin, Benzol, Wasser, Salzlösungen, oder in Gase in Kugelform überführt. Die kugelförmigen Gebilde werden nach der Entfernung des kugelbildenden Mittels auf bekannte Weise getrocknet. Die Herstellung solcher kugelförmiger Gebilde geht augenblicklich vor sich, erfordert nur eine einfache Apparatur, und die erforderliche Trocknung ist in wenigen Stunden vollzogen. Das Einnehmen solcher Gelatinekugeln verursacht keine Schwierigkeiten, ein Zerfallen oder Zergehen ist ausgeschlossen, weil die Kugeln infolge ihrer Größe, die natürlich geändert werden kann, leicht verschluckbar sind. Zwischen den Gelatinekugeln nach dem neuen Verfahren und den Kapseln, wie sie bisher erzeugt wurden, besteht ein grundlegender Unterschied. Bei den Kapseln besteht bloß die Hülle aus Gelatine, das Innere aus dem betreffenden Medikament. Diese sind also Hohlkugeln, während die nach dem neuen Verfahren hergestellten Körper Vollkugeln sind. Die Gefahr des Zerreißens der Gelatinehülle besteht also bei den Vollkugeln nicht.These difficulties are to be eliminated according to the invention in that water-insoluble drugs, nutrients or the like. Ein weiterer Vorzug des neuen Verfahrens besteht darin, daß eine genaue Dosierung des in dem kugelförmigen Produkt enthaltenen Arzneistoffes oder Nährstoffes erzielt wird. Tatsächlich enthält das Produkt genau den Prozentsatz an wirksamem Stoff, den das emulgierte Gemisch enthält; ein Verlust an wertvollen - Stoffen, etwa durch Lösung in dem Perlenbildungsbad, findet nicht statt. Beispiele. z. Man rührt in eine warme 25prozentige Gelatinelösung so.. viel-,Rizinusöl ein, daß 5o Teile Rizinusöl auf roo Teile feste -Gelatine kommen. Rizinusöl emulgiert sich leicht in Gelatinelösung und gibt mit dieser eine homogene milchige Flüssigkeit: - Diese läßt man aus einer geeigneten Auslaufvorrichtung in einen Zylinder tropfen, der mit gekühlten Benzin gefüllt ist. Die Tropfen formen sich zu Kegeln, die im Benzin erstarren. Die Kugeln werden hierauf durch Sieben, Waschen, Belüften von Benzin befreit und auf bekannte Weise getrocknet.
