Es ist auch bekannt, bei diesen Schnittmusterschablonen der Weitenverteilung dadurch Rechnung zu tragen, daß die Schablone mit angelenkten Platten versehen ist, die entsprechend der Weite oder Körperform verstellt werden können. Diese Platten bestehen z. B. aus der Bauchflanke oder dem Vorderteil, der Achselflanke und der Armlochflanke. Der untere Tafelteil bi ist durch zwei Schlitzführungen f, g an der Tafel a gehalten und in der Höhe verstellbar, während der Tafelteil b nur mit einer Schlitzführung f, g an der Tafel a gehalten und mit einem in Form einer Zunge i nach oben auslaufenden Zwischenglied c an die Tafel a angelenkt ist. Mit dem oberen Teil h der Längstafel a bildet die Zunge i die eine Hälfte des Ärmelausschnitts, die Achsel, den Halsausschnitt sowie die Brust. Die Linie zwischen den Gelenkösen h und der Tafel b bildet den hinteren Ärmelausschnitt. Dabei wird nach den am Körper mit Maßband gemessenen Maßen: Oberweite, Unterweite, Vorderlänge, Seitenhöhe und Taillenhöhe an den Doppelteilungen n und o und den Teilungen W, pi und p, r, s am Vorder- und Rückenteil gegeneinander eingestellt, wobei infolge der zwangläufigen Verbindung der Zwischenglieder c, & und c2 auch Achsel-, Hals- und Armloch am Vorderteil und am Rückenteil selbsttätig in die erforderliche Lage gebracht werden. Bei der Herrenschnittmusterschablone regelt sich bei dieser Einstellung auch der Bauchvortritt auf der Teilung r nach der gemessenen Unterweite, wobei aber auch die Bauchflanke d nach der Teilung r noch für sich einstellbar ist, während die Erweiterung für das Gesäß, besonders mittels der Flanke e, nach der Teilung s eingestellt wird. Die Einstellung für das Gesäß erfolgt auch bei der Schablone für Damenkleidung gesondert durch die Flanke e nach =der Teilung p.
