Description

Anordnung an Dampfbügelpressen. Die Pressen und Walzen zum Bügeln von Kleidungsstücken o. dgl. werden gewöhnlich mit nassem Dampf gespeist, der jedoch den Nachteil mit sich bringt, daB der Stoff einläuft, da das in nassem Dampf enthaltene Wasser sich in die Gewebe setzt. Um dies zu vermeiden, wird daher in bekannter Weise zum Bügeln statt des nassen Dampfes überhitzter Dampf verwendet, der durch einen besonderen überhitzer erzeugt wird, welcher zusammen mit dem Dampfkessel oberhalb der Feuerung angeordnet ist. Da der Überhitzer jedoch während der ganzen Anwärmdauer des Dampfkessels den Flammen des Brenners und deren heißen Feuergasen ausgesetzt ist, ohne dabei von Dampf durchströmt zu werden, so treten an dem Überhitzer in kurzer Zeit brüchige Stellen auf, die seine schnelle Zerstörung herbeiführen.Arrangement on steam ironing presses. Die beiden Rohrstücke g und k haben keine durchgehende Verbindung miteinander, sondern leiten den Dampf vom Dampfkessel über den Überhitzer nach der Presse.
