Es handelt sich, wie eingangs bemerkt, bei der Schaumbekämpfung in Gärungsbetrieben stets um die Kombinierung zweier Momente: erstens muß die betreffende Vorrichtung jeweils nach Bedarf selbsttätig wirken, zweitens darf sie nur intermittierend wirken, um die Erhaltung einer gewissen Schaumdecke zu gewährleisten.
