Die in beiliegender Zeichnung angegebene Presse ist bestimmt, Ofenkacheln aus dazu geeignetem Material herzustellen. Damit aber auch die Seitenmuffen sich nicht während der Pressung von einander verschieben, werden dieselben durch zwei Griffe ο und q zusammen gehalten; die Griffe ο und q bewirken durch eine rechtwinklige Drehung entweder ein Oeffnen oder ein Schliefsen der Seitenmuffen. Nun wird der Kolben k durch den Hebel r in die Höhe bewegt und somit das hineingebrachte Material vollständig zu einer Kachel zusammengeprefst, wovon sich die Grundplatte in dem Prefsraum/ befindet. Um die während der Pressung sich im Räume / verdichtende Luft entweichen zu lassen, ist der Kolben parallel zur Axe mit mehreren kleineren Oeffnungen versehen.
