Doppelampulle.
Double ampoule. The invention relates to a double ampoule which
is intended for purposes where it is important to understand the content
of a partial container of the ampoule, for. B. a liquid, from that of the
other partial container, e.g. B .. a solid substance, to be kept separately and
to unite with this just before use. The invention relates to
on such a type of double ampoule, in which the two sub-containers through
a capillary are connected, which is so narrow that they are in the one part of the container
The liquid contained in the ampoule does not let through as long as it is in both sub-containers
the same pressure prevails, but becomes a connecting tube as soon as a
sufficient pressure difference is established between the two sub-containers.
According to the invention is now prevented by suitable treatment of the substances,
that the vapor overlying the liquid of one vessel is transported by the in. dem
The solid substance located in the other vessel is attracted and, as a result, gradually
can get through the capillary into the other vessel and moisten it, whereby
under certain circumstances, the solid body can flow.
This treatment consists in applying a coating to the substance
a colloidal substance is provided. Such a coating offers against entry
complete protection from vapors. On the other hand, once before use
the liquid is driven over to the solid body, causing the dissolution
the coating of the fiber is not hindered, rather the colloidal substance will swell in the water
and allow the water to enter the solid. The! Admixture of a
colloidal substance, such as gelatin, has been used for pharmaceutical purposes

In the drawing, a device as it can be used according to the invention is shown, for example. The two ampoule halves are formed by parts A and B. A capillary tube c protrudes from space A into space B. d and e are the openings of the two halves of the ampoule, which can be melted shut after filling is complete.
