Steam superheater. This is known from steam overheaters, the light ones

Up to now, pipe elements have been carried out in such a way that pipes of different clear widths
would be put together. However, this design of the tubular elements had the disadvantages
on that as a result of the connection of the pipes of different diameters
Manufacture of the tubular elements is extremely expensive ". It was linked with great difficulty and with great difficulty
was and also for the Verbinc1-m - "- of the pipe elements with the to accommodate the
Saturated steam certain collecting pipes different pipe connections than in the case of the intake
of the superheated steam serving collecting pipes became necessary. The invention now aims
to eliminate these disadvantages. According to the invention, the purpose is achieved by
that each pipe element consists of a single pipe of the same diameter everywhere
consists, whose individual pipe strings are pressed flat the closer they are
the steam entry point.

The drawing shows an embodiment of the subject matter of the invention
shown, namely A.bb. i a pipe element in connection with the collecting tanks
and A: bb. a to 5 on a larger scale 14 a section through each pipe string
of the pipe element.
ES denotes a the collecting pipe for receiving de
Saturated steam and b the collecting pipe for taking up the superheated steam (Fig. I). The manifolds
a and b are connected to one another by means of tube elements (superheater tubes). each
Pipe element has eight pipe strings, which are designated in Fig. I with I to VIII
are, and all the more flattened; the closer they are to the steam entry point,
so & ß ider Durchflußquexsohnitt: the pipe strings themselves: after, to the intake
of the superheated steam serving manifolds b expanded (see especially Fig. z to
5). The flattening of the individual pipe strings takes place in the ratio that in
all pipe strings according to the change in volume of the steam flowing through them
in .the pipe element from the decorative steam entry point to the steam outlet point
the same or approximately the same steam speed prevails. Keep the pipe elements
at the bends or turning points, where the flow velocity is already in itself
the steam is inhibited., their round ones; Cross-section at, are also on, the
Places where the pipe element with the collecting tanks a and b in connection
stands, the pipes left round so that the pipe connections on both manifolds
can be executed immediately.
