Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung von Anschlußkontakten an nichtmetallischen elektrischen Heiz- und Widerstandsstäben. Es ist bekannt, daß die nichtmetallischen Heiz- undWiderstandsstäbe an den Anschlußenden große Übergangswiderstände zeigen. Man hat diesen Übelstand dadurch zu beseitigen versucht, daß man die Übergangswiderstände mit dünnen Metallschichten überzog. Dieses Mittel vermag jedoch nur dann seinen Zweck zu erfüllen, wenn als Metall ein Material verwendet wird, welches bei hohen Temperaturen schwer schmelzbar ist und somit einen gleichbleibenden Übergangswiderstand gewährleistet; als solches Material ist u. a. Chrom vorgeschlagen worden, wobei das Material auf mechanischem oder galvanischem Wege auf den Heiz- oder Widerstandsstab gebracht werden soll. Es hat sich nun gezeigt, daß der Ausführung dieser Erfindung unüberwindliche Schwierigkeiten im Wege stehen, welche einmal darin bestehen, daß das Chrom infolge seiner Härte und Sprödigkeit nicht aufgebracht oder überhaupt irgendwie mechanisch bearbeitet werden kann und andererseits, daß es nicht möglich ist, das Chrom galvanisch auf Kohle oder Graphit, infolge der dazu erforderlichen hohen Überspannung, aufzutragen.Process for the production of connection contacts on non-metallic electric heating and resistance rods.
