Abstract

The two stage biological gas washing process is carried out in a column which contains two washing zones, one located over the other. The lower washing zone (4) is the first to come into contact with the gas and is continuously wetted. The upper washing zone (9) is wetted in a dis-continual manner and is then exposed to the gas. The upper zone pref. washes out sulphuric acid and sulphur contg. acids, while the lower zone washes out ammonia, NO2 and NO3.

Description

Stand der TechnikState of the art

It is currently state of the art to use the biogas unpurified or can be cleaned chemically-catalytically.

Aufgabetask

The invention specified in the claims 1 to 6 is used for desulfurization and denitrification of the biogas to meet the TA-Luft.

Vorteilebenefits

With this invention, the biogas is biologically desulfurized and denitrified. The biosphere is not additionally burdened. This is followed by biogas production in the preferred waste disposal.
