Stand der TechnikState of the art
anderen Anschlag an.
The invention relates to a drive unit according to the
Genus of the main claim. If such
Drive unit for adjusting, for example
Sunroofs, sliding windows, seats or the like in
Motor vehicles is used, one lies between the
Stops with play shaft, depending on
Direction of rotation and due to the worm gear
generated axial component, once on one or on the
other stop. This mutual application of
Drive shaft at the two stops is with one
unwanted pounding noise. To make this sound
prevent, is in a known aggregate
Generic type in a metal housing as a worm screw
Adjustment element provided for the longitudinal play, the shorter
is as the slope of the threaded hole. After an elaborate
Setting the worm screw, in the course of which the
Longitudinal play is canceled, in order to secure the screw in
the resulting position with an adhesive in the
Threaded hole are introduced, only after the
Curing with the assembly of the drive unit
can continue.

Beschreibung des AusführungsbeispielsDescription of the embodiment
An electric drive unit 10 shown in FIG. 1 has an electric drive motor 12 , which is followed by a reduction gear designed as a worm gear 14 . As shown in Fig. 1 further shows that belonging to the worm gear 14. Worm shaft 16 is an extension of a part of the electric drive motor 12 armature shaft 18. Since the armature shaft 18 and the worm shaft 16 are connected to one another in one piece, this component is referred to below as the drive shaft 20 . The electric drive motor 12 has a ferromagnetic housing 22 which serves as a return path for the magnetic flux of permanent magnets, not shown, belonging to the electric motor 12 . As can also be seen from FIG. 1, the motor housing 22 has a stop shoulder 24 on which the end face of the drive shaft 20 facing it is supported by a hardened steel ball 26 . The worm gear 14 is arranged in a housing 28 which is made of a thermoplastic. The gear housing 28 is also provided with a stop shoulder 30 on which the gear-side end face of the drive shaft 20 is supported by a ball 32 . This situation is particularly evident in FIG. 3.
As shown in FIGS . 1 and 3, the ball 32 serving as a starting element is located in a through bore 34 of the transmission housing 28 , which is aligned with the axis of the drive shaft 20 . On the side of the ball 32 facing away from the drive shaft 20 , the bore 34 is closed by a wall 36 which is fixedly connected to the gear housing 28 and on which the stop shoulder 30 is formed.
Schneckengetriebe 14 in ihren miteinander verbundenen
Fig. 3 gezeigte Betriebsposition erreicht hat, wird die
A particularly advantageous production of this wall 36 with the shoulder 30 will be explained in more detail with reference to FIGS. 2 and 3. The diameter of the ball 32 is slightly larger than the diameter 38 of the bore 34 . If the electric drive motor 12 and the worm gear 14 are now mounted in their interconnected housings 22 and 28 , the ball 32 is pressed downwards in the direction of arrow 40 in a special assembly station (not shown) by a stamp in the direction of arrow 40 , that there is no more play between the shoulder 24 of the housing 22 or the steel ball 26 belonging to the shoulder 24 and the end face of the drive shaft 20 facing this. At the same time, it is also ensured that there is no more play between the ball 32 - which is shown in dash-dotted lines in FIG. 2 in its assembly position just described - and the end face of the drive shaft 20 which faces it. The fact that the ball diameter is larger than the diameter 38 of the bore 34 results in a sufficient fit of the steel ball 32 in the bore 34 , so that the drive unit 10 to be assembled can be fed to a subsequent assembly station. In this assembly station, which is also not shown, the steel ball 32 is properly secured in its assembly position which has now been reached by a welding process which is brought about by ultrasound. For this purpose, an ultra-welding sonotrode 42 is placed on the housing 28 in the direction of the arrow 40 ( FIG. 2). The longitudinal axis of the sonotrode 42 is aligned with the axis of the through hole 34 . Because the diameter 44 of the sonotrode 42 is larger than the diameter of the bore 34 , there is an annular contact area between the housing part 28 and the end face of the sonotrode 42 . Excitation of the sonotrode 42 softens the plastic housing 28 made of a thermoplastic in the region of the wall of the bore 34 , so that it can be deformed by the sonotrode 42 loaded in the direction of the arrow 40 , as shown in FIG. 3. After the sonotrode 42 has reached its operating position shown in FIG. 3, the movement of the sonotrode is interrupted, so that the sonotrode now secures the resulting wall 36 against undesired further deformation. When the wall 36 has hardened again after a few seconds, the sonotrode 42 is removed in the direction opposite the arrow 40 in FIG. 2, so that the drive unit 10 can be fed to a further treatment.
