Metallhülsen, -muffen, -kupplungen usw. sowie aufwendige von Hand durchzuführende Arbeiten von vornherein vermieden werden, indem eine einwandfreie, restlose und exakt ringförmige Entfernung der Sperrschicht im Schweiß bereich vor dem eigentlichen Schweißvorgang durchgeführt wird und ggfl. eine automatisierte Verschweißung zweier Rohrenden aus beispielsweise Polyolefinen möglich ist.
