Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a medical dressing material for hygienic, sterile sealing of Wounds, especially open wounds where the wound due to a stiff hollow arch element, which with its flat hollow surface is placed on the wound, covered and using a conventional medical bandage (gauze bandage or elastic bandage) germ-free but permeable to air is closed. The rigid hollow arch element can be in the medical bandage must be integrated, d. H. with this form a unit, or it can act as a separate element present, that for the non-slip dressing of a wound, especially an open wound, together with a ge common medical bandage, can be used.
So far, simple gauze has been used to close wounds bind used either directly or under interim place a gauze over the one to be closed Wound are wound and thus in direct contact with this stand. For open wounds that bleed heavily or fester and / or are very large, so that they only heal slowly, it is necessary for medical reasons that the association often, in extreme cases even several times a day. When the wound healed the bandage sticks to the blood and the tissue if there is any pus or if the pus starts Healing emerges thin skin, which slow the wound closes on. With every dressing change this is now through direct contact between the association and the Wound adhesive bond torn open again, which leads to The consequence is that the wound is already partially closed is opened again. This will make the healing process delayed. In addition, the dressing change, esp especially when it comes to large-scale bandages, such as Bandages of burns, acts, extraordinary painful, so that the dressings changed less frequently as medically necessary to for example, an undesirable multiplication of bacteria to prevent.
The object of the invention was therefore a medical Ver to find tape material that is a more common, less Painful dressing changes, especially when there are open wishes allows the one who promotes faster healing.
It has now been found that this object is achieved according to the invention can be solved by a medical dressing rial, which is particularly suitable for connecting Wun that, especially of open wounds, especially of fire wounds characterized by stiffened air permeable, curved outwards, hollow inside with a flat or curved surface Size, any shape and any cross section (Hollow arch element) that ge to cover a wound is suitable and by means of a medical bandage (e.g. a gauze bandage or an elastic one Bandage) can be fixed non-slip without the Wound cover comes into contact with the wound surface.
The hollow arch element of the medicinin invention dressing material can be in the middle or nearby one end of a medical bandage, preferably one Gauze bandage or an elastic bandage, so in the bandage be integrated that the bandage over the convex outer Surface runs away and is fixed to it. The Bandage can also be used in the manufacture of the Element by compression molding a suitable non-woven or woven material, which may contain a binder contains tel, in the part of the hollow bulge that bulges outwards Exercise elements are integrated so that they are a Unity.
But it is also possible that the hollow arch element for made alone and together with one of them pending medical bandage, as they usually ver is used to cover and close a wound, preferably an open wound. In the sem case has the hollow arch element on its level or curved contact surface over the skin preferred have a widened edge that is uncoated or can optionally be coated with an adhesive. Instead of this border or in addition to this you can also one or more tabs on the flat or ge curved bearing surface of the hollow arch element is formed be the non-slip fixation on the cover to be covered Allow wound with a medical bandage.
The hollow arch element of the medicinin invention dressing material consists of an air permeable stiff material, preferably with the required perforation is provided to all me to meet medical requirements. That means it be is made of a sterile or sterilizable material, that does not promote and promote the multiplication of germs if on its inner surface with a disinfectant impregnated onsmittel.
The wall thickness of the hollow arch element is sufficient great for the indentation of the hollow dome at the slip Most attachment to the wound using a medical Avoid bandage reliably. The is preferably Wall thickness 0.5 to 5 mm, in particular 0.5 to 2 mm, each according to the material from which the hollow arch element is made.
The hollow arch element of the medicinin invention The dressing material preferably consists of a ver stiff, woven or non-woven fabric from one natural or synthetic fiber or textile material or other plastic material that may be a Contains binders and that by compression molding in the ge wanted shape-brought and if necessary with a sufficient number of perforations is provided to to meet the medical requirements.
The hollow arch element preferably consists of a pressed and dried, optionally hardened Fa porridge, preferably of natural or synthetic Cellulose fibers, which may contain a binder holds. The material for producing the invention Hollow-arch element is medically inert or can be by sterilization or impregnation with a sterile into a medically inert state to lead. The production is particularly economical a pulp like that used to make the ken commonly used kidney shells is used. By Compression molding of such a pulp and subsequent Drying, which may result in perforation concludes, this can be done in the medicinal product according to the invention dressing material used hollow arch element manufacture economically simple and effective way.
Die Wölbungshöhe über der Auflagefläche beträgt vorzugsweise 0,5 bis 5 cm, insbesondere 1 bis 2 cm.The shape and shape of the hollow arch element is any big and should be the size of the most common be treated to treat wounds. The flat or ge curved contact surface of the invention Hollow arch element can have a round or oval surface be of any diameter. The amount of bulge above this contact area depends on the size of the contact area and use it to manufacture the hollow arch element ceded material. The bulge height above the contact surface is preferably 0.5 to 5 cm, in particular 1 to 2 cm.
For fastening the hollow arch element according to the invention an elastic gauze bandage is preferably used, which largely prevent the finished dressing from slipping different.
The medical dressing material according to the invention offers the advantage that there is direct contact with the Wun surface and thus with the ent as the wound heals avoids standing new skin, so that when changing dressings no more unnecessary delay in wound healing needs to be taken. It can also be invented any medical dressing material according to the invention accomplish frequent dressing changes, which largely is painless. Through the inventive medicin dressing material can be especially large Treat burns better than before because of a skin figer dressing change of better germ suppression serves. In addition, more frequent disinfection of the Wound if necessary. So that can in particular, an accelerated, complication-free shutdown wound can be achieved.
The medical dressing material according to the invention is be particularly well suited for covering and non-contact ver close wounds, especially abrasion and open wounds, on skin that is above joints those on whom complications are particularly common when changing dressings cations occur and experience has shown that their healing takes a particularly long time.
