Verfahren zur Herstellung von hochwertigen technischen Ölen aus minderwertigen Abfallfetten und Ölen. Bekannt ist die Herstellung heller Öle aus dunklen Abfallfetten durch Destillation mit oder ohne überhitzten Wasserdampf. Die hierfür üblichen Verfahren haben jedoch den großen Nachteil, daß sich durch die Destillation unverseifbare und übelriechende Bestandteile von dunkler Farbe - Kohlenwasserstoffe - bilden, die die Qualität des Produktes ungünstig beeinflussen. Der diesen Produkten weiter anhaftende Nachteil des Nachdunkelns hat seinen Grund entweder in dem Umstand, daß das Destillat in Gegenwart des Kondensats mit der Luft in Berührung kommt, oder daß das Kondenswasser nach erfolgter Abkühlung bei gewöhnlicher Temperatur durch Absetzenlassen vom Fett getrennt wird. Ein weiterer Übelstand dieser Verfahren ist das Auftreten lästiger und schwer zu trennender Emulsionen, welche das destillierte Produkt mit dem Kondenswasser bildet, wenn es in Gegenwart von überhitztem Wasserdampf destilliert wird.Process for the production of high quality technical oils from inferior ones Waste fats and oils.
