Abstract

The invention relates to a grilling spit with meat fork, as used in conventional grilling appliances. The object of the invention is to develop a meat fork for a grilling spit which is user-friendly, excludes functioning unreliability and avoids fastening of the meat fork to the grilling spit with screws. The object is achieved according to the invention in that the meat fork consists of only one piece and thus has great manufacturing benefits. The wire from which the meat fork is produced is fixed to the grilling spit by a special knotting-together, i.e. merely by its own clamping action. By virtue of the one-piece construction, reliable functioning is ensured.

Description

The invention relates to a grill skewer with meat fork, as in conventional Grills are used.

In the previous grill skewers, it is known that the grill skewer by the meat is pushed, at least one meat fork belongs to the meat to be able to fix it on the spit. This meat fork consists of three individual parts:

• - the actual fork for holding the meat,
• - a threaded sleeve that connects the fork to the skewer,
• - a screw used to attach the sleeve to the Serving meat fork on the grill skewer.

The disadvantage of these previously known arrangements is that only one is defective or lost item, the entire meat fork becomes worthless. For example the sleeve is very susceptible to rust and then not for use with food more usable. This provides a number of advantages:
The meat fork consists of only one piece and thus receives great manufacturing advantages. The wire from which the meat fork is made is fixed by the special knotting, i.e. only by its own clamping effect on the grill skewer. The one-piece production ensures a reliable function.

The meat fork ( 1 ) is used to fix the food on the grill skewer ( 7 ). It comprises two prongs of approximately the same length, which exert a clamping effect on the grill spit ( 7 ) due to a special deformation. The meat fork ( 1 ) preferably consists of round, square or flat steel wire with a diameter of approximately 3.5 mm, in particular made of stainless steel wire. The structure of the meat fork ( 1 ) is described as follows. Starting with the first tine ( 2 ), the wire forms the meat fork section ( 3 ) bent approximately at right angles to the grill spit ( 7 ) after the distance (a) necessary to hold the meat, then spirally spans the grill spit ( 7 ) with at least two , but preferably three win ( 4 ) and leads the end of the wire through the turns ( 4 ) so that it is returned in parallel ( 8 ) on a surface ( 9 ) of the grill skewer ( 7 ) to the starting direction. Finally, almost in mirror image to the meat fork side, the meat fork section ( 5 ), which is approximately rectangular to both the grill skewer ( 7 ) and the second prong ( 6 ), follows. The meat fork ( 1 ) ends with a second tine ( 6 ) parallel to the first tine ( 2 ) and to the grill skewer ( 7 ).

The clamping effect must be dimensioned so that the meat fork ( 1 ) transfers the torque safely from the grill spit ( 7 ) to the food and does not slip on the profile of the spit. This can be achieved by adjusting the angle of the part of the meat fork ( 1 ) resting on the surface of the grill skewer ( 7 ) by pressing the prongs ( 2 ; 6 ) towards the winding direction. To release the meat fork ( 1 ) from the grill skewer ( 7 ), the clamping effect can be released by pressing the prongs ( 2 ; 6 ) in the opposite direction.

Claims (5)

1. grill skewer with at least one meat fork, the grill skewer has at least one flattened side, characterized in that the meat fork ( 1 ) is formed in one piece with two prongs ( 2 , 6 ) and a central loop ( 4 , 8 ) around the grill skewer ( 7 ), the meat fork ( 1 ) being displaceable on the grill skewer ( 7 ) and, at the same time, being able to be fixed independently at any point on it. 2. grill skewer according to claim 1, characterized in that a prong ( 2 ) of the meat fork ( 1 ) after the necessary length to hold the meat (a) forms the grill fork ( 7 ) bent meat fork section ( 3 ), the grill skewer ( 7 ) spirally spanned with at least two turns ( 4 ), its end through the turns ( 4 ) parallel ( 8 ) on a surface ( 9 ) of the grill spit ( 7 ) to the starting direction and a mirror image of the meat fork section ( 5 ) and the other prong ( 6 ) forms. 3. grill skewer according to claim 1 and 2, characterized in that the meat fork ( 1 ) on the grill skewer ( 7 ) by pressure on the prongs ( 2 , 6 ) can be fixed in the winding direction. 4. grill skewer according to claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the meat fork ( 1 ) from the grill skewer ( 7 ) by pressure on the prongs ( 2 , 6 ) is releasable against the winding direction. 5. grill skewer according to one or more of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the meat fork ( 1 ) consists of wire.
