Vorrichtung zum Messen und bestimmen der Veränderung des Profils an der Lauffläche und dem Spurkranz eines Rades bei fahrendem Schienenfahrzeug nach einer bestimmten Laufleistung mittels mechanischer oder berührungsloser Meßfühler, wobei die Veränderung des Profils durch mehrere Kontrollpunkte überprüft wird, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das auf dem Spurkranz (2) rollende Schienenfahrzeug einseitig über eine schräg nach außen geneigte Lauffläche (4a) einer Tragschiene (4) mit dem Radrücken (5) an einer Vielzahl vor.
