Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a connection system according to the preamble of Claim 1.
B. der Firmen Exmar GmbH, Parker Ermeto und Svagelock).Connection systems are known in which so-called cutting rings are used a clamping nut designed as a union nut into a screw connection be pressed with an inner cone and by their deformation to Cut the center into the pipe there and hold it and at the same time seal the connection. There is also connection systems that have several rings, one of which mostly to the Rohrhal device and the other is used for sealing (see catalogs, e.g. the Exmar GmbH, Parker Ermeto and Svagelock).
The rings that are to hold the pipe to be connected are surface-tight hardens to better cut into the pipe. The difficulty that arises with Such a conception is that the holding ring in its entirety structure does not have the strength as on the hardened surface. Through the Such softness makes such a part more compressible or flexible. The Konse Quenz is that the pipe is not kept sufficiently safe or the operating pressures of such a system are to be set accordingly low. Furthermore are components hardened by so-called carburization or nitriding almost always much more susceptible to corrosion than in the previous condition.
The invention has for its object to form a connection system so that the attitude of the pipe to be connected is improved and thus the safety is increased.
The object is achieved by the characterizing features of the Claim 1 solved.
The advantages achieved with the invention are in particular a more secure one Pipe maintenance or in a possible increase in the permissible operating pressures with the same security. Further features and advantages result from the following drawings.
Es zeigenShow it
Fig. 1 einen Verschraubungskörper (1) mit einem Innenkonus, eine als Überwurf mutter ausgebildete Spannmutter (2), ein abzudichtendes und zu haltendes Rohrende (3) und einen Profilring (4) im lose zusammengefügten Zustand und Fig. 1 a screw body ( 1 ) with an inner cone, a nut designed as a union nut ( 2 ), a pipe end to be sealed and held ( 3 ) and a profile ring ( 4 ) in the loosely assembled state and
Fig. 2 die selben Bauteile im festgezogenen Zustand. Fig. 2 shows the same components in the tightened state.
A useful design of a profile ring can be seen in Fig. 1. The profile ring ( 4 ) has a friction-reducing coating ( 4.1 ). However, this at least not in the front, rounded area ( 4.2 ). Furthermore, there is an angle difference (a2) between the ring front part and the inner cone deforming the ring, here that of the screw body ( 1 ). Two cutting edges ( 4.3 ) are arranged in the front inner area of the profile ring ( 4 ). An angle difference (a1) is again present between the ring shoulder ( 4.4 ) and the pressure surface of the clamping nut ( 2 ).
If the clamping nut ( 2 ) is now tightened, the metallic uncoated area ( 4.2 ), which is first pressed onto the inner cone of the screw body ( 1 ) by the angular difference (a2), prevents the coating material ( 4.1 ) from flowing into the medium area to be sealed . At the transition ( 4.5 ) of the profile ring ( 4 ) from the conical to an overlying cylindrical or less conical area, there is now a strong contact pressure on the inner cone of the screw body ( 1 ), so that the coating material ( 4.1 ) in front between transition ( 4.5 ) and Area ( 4.2 ) remains chambered and reduces friction or also optimizes the seal. As the clamping nut ( 2 ) is tightened further, the front rounded area ( 4.2 ) first presses with its inside into the pipe wall, while the cutting edges ( 4.3 ) engage. Due to the rounded design ( 4.2 ), the ring on the medium side does not cut the passive layer or z. B. a galvanically applied protective coating of the tube, whereby the risk of corrosion is reduced. If the cutting edges ( 4.3 ) have fully engaged in the tube ( 3 ) or the stop surface ( 4.6 ) lies on the screw body ( 1 ), the propulsion resistance of the ring ( 4 ) becomes so great that when the clamping nut ( 2 ) the ring shoulder ( 4.4 ) is pressed against the pipe and supports it against radial loads and vibrations. This deformation of the ring shoulder ( 4.4 ) is easier due to the angular difference (a1) despite the hardened profile ring ( 4 ). Once the angles have been adjusted, practically no further tightening of the clamping nut ( 2 ) is possible, and the user notices that the connection is now correctly installed ( Fig. 2). As a further advantage, the restoring force of the hardened ring shoulder ( 4.4 ) against the clamping nut ( 2 ) results in a securing effect against loosening due to vibrations, similar to that of a spring washer.
