Soll der Ofen seine volle Brennwirkung äußern, so wird der Schieber e vollständig nach rechts geschoben (Abb.2); er schließt dann die Gegenluftleitung vollkommen ab, während der Verbrennungslufteinlaß f vollständig geöffnet ist. Soll dagegen die Brennwirkung des Ofens nach Möglichkeit ausgeschaltet werden, so wird der Schiebere in seine äußersteLinksstellung geschoben (Abb. 3), so daß der Lüfteinlaßkanal f vollkommen geschlossen, die Gegenluftleitung g völlig geöffnet ist; zwischen beiden Endstellungen sind Zwischenregelungen möglich.
