Bei der leitvorrichtung für den Wasserumlauf in der unteren Trommel eines Steilrohrkessels mit seitlichen Niederfallrohren nach dem Hauptpatent ist das Leitblech sol angeordnet, daß es die beiden Seiten der Kesseltrommel unmittelbar berührt. Dadurch wird die Möglichkeit geschaffen, daß sich in den Ecken zwischen Leitblech und Kesselmantel Schlamm ablagert, der beim Anheizen des Kessels das Umlaufwasser von den von ihm bedeckten Stellen des Mantelbleches' fernhält, so daß diese längere Zeit kalt bleiben.
