Abstract

With the upper end portion 11 of the outer leg of the profile section 12 , the other fitting part 4 forms a projection 10 which, as can be seen from FIGS. 2a and 2b, engages in the slot-shaped recess 9 such that its flat upper edge 17 with the upper side of the other fitting part 3 is aligned with the recess 9 . So, as can be seen from Fig. 2, a table top 1 with its underside 5 on the upper edge 17 of the other fitting 4 of the other table top 2 at loading B, so that a lowering of a table top 1 relative to the other table top 2 is counteracted in the area of the front edge. By the engagement of the projection 10 in the recess 9 , as shown in FIGS. 2a and 2b, a movement of the two table tops 1 and 2 and thus an undesirable expansion of the butt joint 7 in the area of the front edge of the plate is prevented because the projection 10 in the recess 9 has only a slight cross game. Both with the mounting type according to FIG. 2a and with the mounting type according to FIG. 2b it is further ensured that the one table top 1 can be moved forwards relative to the other table top 2 in order to expose a rear cable duct arranged below the table top 1 .

Während bei der Montageart gemäß Fig. 2a der andere Beschlag teil 4 mit seinem Vorsprung 10 an der Unterseite 5 der einen Tischplatte 1 angreift, liegt der äußere Schenkel des U-för migen Profilabschnitts 12 des anderen Beschlagteiles 4 bündig mit der Stoßfugenkante der anderen Tischplatte 2. Dafür ragt der eine Beschlagteil 3 weiter über die Stoßfuge 7 unter die Unterseite 6 der anderen Tischplatte 2, so daß der Vorsprung 10 wiederum querverriegelnd in die Aussparung 9 eingreifen kann. Bei der Montageart gemäß Fig. 2b wird gewährleistet, daß die eine Tischplatte 1 relativ zu der anderen Tischplatte 2 vorne nach unten geneigt werden kann, um eine ergonomisch günstige Position einzunehmen. Der Vorsprung 10 steht einer solchen Neigung nicht mehr im Wege. Claims

1.Locking device for adjacent table tops ( 1 , 2 ) of workstation tables, in particular desks with a C-leg frame, characterized by two fitting parts ( 3 , 4 ) which in adjacent areas on the underside ( 5 , 6 ) of the adjacent table tops ( 1 , 2 ), each on one of the two table tops ( 1 , 2 ), so interlocking mon animal that a relative movement of the table tops ( 1 , 2 ) perpendicular to the butt joint ( 7 ) provided between them is prevented that one or the other Table top ( 1 , 2 ) opposite the other or a table top ( 1 , 2 ) to expose a rear cable duct can be pushed forward, and that either the table top ( 1 ) with vertical load (B) over that on the other table plate ( 2 ) attached fitting part ( 4 ) on the other table plate ( 2 ) supports or the one table top ( 1 ) with its front edge relative to the other table top tte ( 2 ) can be tilted downwards.

5. Locking device according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the fitting parts ( 3 , 4 ) cut from a flat material, punched and optionally bent.

Locking device according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the fitting parts ( 3 , 4 ) in a parallel to the underside ( 5 , 6 ) of the table top ( 1 , 2 ) can be arranged fastening section ( 14 , 15 ) holes ( 16 ) preferably countersunk holes for receiving fastening elements such as screws, preferably countersunk screws.
