Description

The invention relates to a shelf with a base plate. A shelf can in particular be the base of a furniture element, for example a drawer.

According to the invention, this object is achieved by a shelf with a base plate and with at least one profile, with the features of claim 1. Preferred configurations of the invention are specified in the dependent claims.

The profiles are preferably made of metal, but can also be made of plastic. The structural elements can be made of metal, derived timber product, plastic or glass.

According to the invention, the legs of the profile opening have openings that can be repeated in a specific pattern in the direction of the profile. Structural elements can be inserted, anchored and/or snapped into the openings.

According to the invention, the profile is designed as a frame which encloses the end faces of the base plate and on which the base plate rests. This means that the base plate can also be used during the period of use easily exchanged.

According to the invention, the profile is U-shaped with a longer outer leg, a shorter inner leg and a bottom leg located in between, the inner leg being adjoined by an inwardly angled support leg on which the bottom plate rests.

According to the invention, there is at least one upwardly open joint between the face of the base plate and the outer leg. The thickness of the base plate and the length of the outer leg can be matched to one another in such a way that the upper edge of the outer leg and the upper side of the base plate are at the same level.

According to the invention, the base plate has a profile on both sides with a profile opening open at the top and is inserted into the frame-shaped profile, with a joint being present between the profiles and the frame-shaped profile.

In one variant, a floor profile strip is inserted into the profile opening and joint and clamped therein, the top side of the profile covering the joint, in particular flush with the top side of the floor panel. Such a bottom profile strip can be used to finish off the edge of the shelf in an appealing manner and to cover any grooves in the edge area. Such a floor profile strip made of plastic is preferred. Here, different color designs for the floor moldings are conceivable.

In another variant, a structural element is inserted into the profile opening and joint and fixed therein in a non-positive or positive manner by means of a fastening element.

In the profile openings and/or joints of two opposing frame sides of a frame-shaped profile, one or more floor traverses or railings can be inserted and in particular be slidable and fixable in order to divide the shelf individually into individual shelf compartments.

In a further embodiment not according to the invention, there are two profiles which are fastened to opposite end faces of the base plate. Included the profiles can each have a U-profile with a profile opening that is open at the top or bottom for the insertion of structural elements and on their inner face side each have at least one plug-in leg for attachment to the base plate. Alternatively, the profiles can each have several, in particular have two adjacent U-profiles with profile openings open at the top, the outer profile groove for inserting structural elements and the inner profile groove, for example, for guiding floor rails.

A downwardly open U-shaped profile recess is preferably present between the two adjacent U-profiles and the plug-in leg, in order to be able to accommodate a pull-out guide therein.

For example, side, rear or front walls of a drawer can be provided as structural elements. In this case, these walls can extend completely around the base plate as a complete frame. It is also possible that the walls are only provided on some end faces of the base plate or only partially extend along one or more end faces. Corner elements or (corner) posts can also be provided as structural elements, to which in turn walls can be fastened.

Preferably, the tray has two mounted posts to which a faceplate and/or handle is attached. The front panel can be adjusted using the posts. As a result, the front panel does not have to absorb the force of the handle as usual, but is only a privacy screen and can also be made of structurally weak materials such as felt, thin plastic, paper, fabrics or mineral materials.

In a further embodiment, the shelf is a folded sheet metal blank, with at least two opposing edges of the sheet metal blank being bent to form a U-shaped profile with a profile opening open at the top.

Preferably, the shelf is a profile with a base and with two opposite ends, each angled upwards by 90°, and between the base plate fastened to the base on both sides there is an upwardly open joint.

Particularly preferably, the profile has an upper leg that rests on the base plate, or a lower side leg on which the base plate rests, or a lateral plug-in leg for insertion into the end face of the base plate.

At least one U-shaped clamping element can advantageously be inserted into the profile opening, in the clamping opening of which a structural element is clamped.

To fasten a structural element, a slide is preferably inserted into the profile opening and secured therein by means of a securing element, the securing element having a rotatably mounted eccentric which engages in the slide in order to move it in the direction of the profile, and which has at least one projection for locking an in having the structural element used in the profile opening.

Further advantages of the invention result from the description, the claims and the drawing. The embodiments shown and described are not to be understood as an exhaustive list, but rather have an exemplary character for the description of the invention. Figures 6 to 27c show clear examples of trays not according to the invention.

This in Figs. 1a , 1b The tray 1 shown comprises a base plate 2 and a frame-shaped profile 3 into which the base plate 2 is inserted. The profile 3 encloses all four end faces of the base plate and can be fastened to the base plate 2, for example screwed on.

As in Figures 2a, 2b shown, the profile 3 is U-shaped with a longer outer leg 3a, a shorter inner leg 3b and a bottom leg 3c located in between, which together define an upwardly open profile opening or groove 4 . The inner leg 3b is followed by a support leg 3d which is angled inwards at a right angle and on which the base plate 2 rests, with a circumferential joint 5 remaining between the base plate 2 and the outer leg 3a. In the exemplary embodiment shown, the support leg 3d is located below the upper edge of the outer leg 3a by the thickness of the base plate 2, so that the upper side of the base plate 2 is flush with the upper edge of the outer leg 3a. Alternatively, the upper edge of the outer leg 3a can also end above or below the upper side of the base plate 2. The base plate 2 can have the profile opening 4, as shown in Figure 2b shown, partially cover or alternatively not cover. As a result, the width of the joint 5 can be varied. In the profile direction, the base leg 3c has a plurality of base openings 6 , which are different here and which can be arranged in a specific grid.

The profile groove 4 and the joint 5 together form an upwardly open plug-in opening into which structural elements, such as a side or rear wall 7 or corner elements 8, can be inserted and fastened. In Figure 3a is in the plug-in opening 4/5 a bottom profile bar 9 clamped, the profile top Joint 5 covers flush with the top of the base plate 2. In Figure 3b is inserted into the plug-in opening 4/5 formed of two clamping halves 10a, 10b clamping element between which in turn a structural element such as a (corner) post 11 is clamped. The two clamping halves 10a, 10b can be moved towards one another by means of a suitable clamping mechanism, eg via a screw 12 in the bottom leg 3c and a tightening element 13 not shown in detail, and the post 11 can thereby be fastened to the tray 1 or mounted in a non-positive manner.

4 shows the tray 1 with two clamped corner posts 11 to which a front panel 14 is attached. A front handle (handle bar) 15 is not attached to the front panel 14 itself but also to the corner posts 11 . As a result, the front panel 14 does not have to absorb the force of the handle 15, as is usual. The front panel 14 is therefore only a privacy screen and can also consist of structurally weak materials such as felt, thin plastic, paper, fabrics or mineral materials.

As in figure 5 shown, floor trusses 16 (floor railings) can be guided and locked either only in the joints 5 or additionally in the profile grooves 4 of two opposite frame sides of the profile 3. In this way, the tray 1 can be divided individually into individual tray compartments and an object 17 can be fixed between two floor rails 16 . The floor railing 15 can thus be used as the basis for an organizational system that is to be further expanded and can accommodate cross railings 18, compartment dividers 19 or other components that build upwards.

Unlike in Figs. 2a, 2b shown, the base plate 2 can also rest seamlessly on the outer leg 3a in embodiments that are not shown. In this case, structural elements can be inserted, clamped or hung in the floor openings 6 from below.

6 FIG. 1 shows a second shelf 1′ , which is assembled from a base plate 2 and two lateral profiles 20 of identical construction. As in 7 shown, each profile 20 has two adjacent U or C profiles 21 , 22 with upwardly open profile openings 21a, 22a and on its inner end face a plug-in leg 23 . The bottom plate 2 has a groove 24 on each of two opposite end faces, into which a profile 20 is inserted with its plug-in leg 23 and fastened, for example by screwing. The outer profile opening 21 is deeper than the inner profile opening 22, i.e. the groove base 21b of the outer profile groove 21 is at a lower level than the groove base 22b of the inner profile groove 22. The outer profile groove 21 serves to insert structural elements and the inner profile groove 22 for example to guide floor rails. In the example shown, the top of the profiles 20 is flush with the top of the base plate 2 .

Figs. 9a, 9b show another tray 1" made of sheet metal, which is manufactured by folding a sheet metal blank and has a base plate 2. At least two opposite edges, here all four edges of the rectangular sheet metal blank are connected to form a U-shaped profile 3 with a profile opening or -groove 4 bevelled in order to be able to insert structural elements or guide floor rails. In the example shown, the shelf 1" has a profile groove running all the way around.

The width of the base plate 2 is smaller than the distance between the two angled ends 32, so that between the center on the bottom 31 fixed base plate 2 on both sides an upwardly open joint 5 is present. This joint 5 forms an upwardly open plug-in opening into which structural elements such as a side or rear wall 7 or corner elements 8 can be inserted and fastened. In Figs. 18a-18c the profile 3 has an L-profile 29 with a vertical profile leg 29a and a laterally protruding, horizontal upper profile leg 29b . The free profile end of the upper profile leg 29b is thickened or angled and can also be curved.

In Figs. 19a-19c the profile 3 has an L-profile 29 with a vertical profile leg 29a and a laterally protruding, horizontal lower profile leg 29d . The free profile end of the lower profile leg 29d is thickened or angled and can also be curved.

Figs. 20a, 20b show the clamping attachment of a side wall 7 to the downwardly open profile opening 22a of the in 13 shown, outer C-profile 22. The vertical side wall 7 has a right-angled, lower leg 7a , on the upper side two parallel clip projections 7b are formed. The side wall 7 is inserted diagonally into the profile opening 22a with the clip projections 7b ( Figure 20a ) and then tilted until the side wall 7 rests on the outside of the outer C-profile 22 and the two clip projections 7b engage behind the C-profile 22 and are thereby locked ( Figure 20b ).

Figs. 21a, 21b show the clamping of a side wall 7 on the outer leg 34 of the in 13 shown, outer C-profile 22. The vertical side wall 7 has two parallel clip projections 7c on the inside, with which the side wall 7 is initially attached at an angle to the outer leg 34 ( Figure 21a ) and then clipped onto the outer leg 34 by a tilting movement ( Figure 21b ).

Figs. 22a, 22b show the clamping attachment of the side wall 7 to the laterally open profile opening 21a of the in 16 shown C-profile 21. The vertical side wall 7 has two parallel clip projections 7c on the inside. The side wall 7 is inserted with the clip projections 7c at an angle into the profile opening 21a ( 22a ) And then tilted until the side wall 7 rests on the outside of the C-profile 21 and the both clip projections 7c engage behind the C-profile 21 and are thereby locked ( Figure 22b ).

Figs. 23a, 23b show the attachment of the side wall 7 to the profile legs 27a, 27b of the in 17 shown L-profile 27. The side wall 7 is attached with its guide grooves 35 to the profile projections 28 of the profile legs 27a, 27b ( Figure 23a ) and inserted ( Figure 23b ).

Figs. 24a shows the clamping attachment of the side wall 7 to the horizontal upper profile leg 29b of the in 18 shown L-profile 29. The side wall 7 has at the lower end a laterally open clamping opening 36 whose opening cross-section is complementary to the profile cross-section of the horizontal upper profile leg 29b. The side wall 7 with the clamping opening 36 is either pushed onto the front side of the upper profile leg 29b or, if the clamping opening 36 can be expanded elastically, inserted laterally into the clamping opening 36 and latched therein. Figs. 24b shows the corresponding clamp fastening of the side wall 7 on the horizontal lower profile leg 29d of the in 19 shown L-profile 29.

Figs. 25a -25c show the clamping of side walls 7 by means of additional U-shaped clamping elements 37 in the U or C profiles 21, 22 of the in 12 shown profile 3 ( Figure 25a ), in the U or C profiles 21, 22 of the in 13 shown profile 3 ( Figure 25b ) and in the U or C profile of the in 16 shown profile 21 ( Figure 25c ). First, the U-shaped clamping elements 37 are inserted into the U or C profiles 21, 22 and then the side walls 7 are inserted into the clamping opening 38 of the U-shaped clamping elements 37, whereby the clamping elements 37 are spread apart elastically and the side walls 7 in the Clamp opening 38 are clamped.

Figs. 26a, 26b show exploded views of a corner attachment 40 of a corner wall 8 in an upwardly open profile opening 4 of a frame-shaped profile 3 , for example. As in Figs. 27a- 27c , the slide 43 is inserted into the profile opening 4 and secured therein by means of the securing element 41 fixed on the profile 3 ( figure 27a ). The eccentric 42 engages the slide 43 in order to move it in the profile direction. The corner wall 8 is inserted into the profile opening 4 with two hooks 44 open in the direction of the profile away from the profile corner ( Figure 27b ) and locked by the slider 43 ( Figure 27c ), which is shifted by the eccentric 42 towards the corner of the profile. More precisely, the slide 43 has two projections 45 which engage in the hooks 44 and thus lock the corner wall 8 in the profile opening 4.

Claims (4)

1. Shelf (1) with a base plate (2) and with at least one profile (3) in the form of a frame, which encloses all four end faces of the base plate (2) and on which the base plate (2) rests,

   wherein the profile (3) is fastened to the base plate (2) and is U-shaped with a longer outer leg (3a), a shorter inner leg (3b) and a bottom leg (3c) located therebetween, which together define an upwardly open profile opening (4),

   wherein the inner leg (3b) is adjoined by a support leg (3d) which is bent inwardly at a right angle and on which the base plate (2) rests,

   wherein an upwardly open, circumferential gap (5) is provided between the end faces of the base plate (2) and the outer legs (3a), and wherein the profile opening (4) and the gap (5) together form an upwardly open insertion opening for fastening, in particular inserting or guiding, structural elements (7, 8, 11; 16), and wherein the bottom leg (3c) has a plurality of bottom openings (6) in the profile direction.
2. Shelf according to claim 1, characterized in that a bottom profile strip (9) is inserted and clamped in the profile opening (4) and gap (5), the profile upper side of which covers the gap (5), in particular flush with the upper side of the base plate (2).
3. Shelf according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that a structural element (7, 8, 11) is inserted into the profile opening (4) and gap (5) and is fastened therein by means of a fastening element (10a, 10b) in a force-fitting or positive-locking manner.
4. Shelf according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that at least one bottom rail (16) is inserted into the profile openings (4) and/or gaps (5) of two opposing frame sides of the frame-shaped profile (3) and can, in particular, be displaced and fixed therein.
