Description

Process for producing true colorations on the fiber. It has been found that orange to deep brown dyeings of excellent wash, boil and lightfastness can be achieved if -the. by the action of aminosalicylic acid or those salicylic acid azo dyes which contain a free - imino group, on 4. # 4'-Dinitros': ilben-2 # 2'-disulfonic acid or compounds that can be easily transferred to these, such as q. .4'-Dinitrodibenzyl-2 # 2'-disulfos, äure or p-nitro: oluene-o-su'.foic acid, etc., in the presence of caustic alkali solution at elevated temperature colors available on cotton and then with heavy metal salts such as copper sulfate, Fluorochrome, bichromate, etc. or their mixtures, post-treated. Instead of the salicylic acid derivatives you can also take o-cresotins, acid derivatives. In this way, for example, the following colorations are obtained: Dye off 4. 4 .'- Dinitro-stilbene on tree.> Lle @ eküpfert with fluorochrome a # 2'-disulfonic acid is colored treated p-aminosalicylic acid orange orange-brown cloudy orange p-phenylenediamine-azo-orange red-brown-brown-orange Salicylic acid p-phenylenediamine azo-brownish tinge o-cresotinic acid orange - sacrificial brown. Brown p-aminosalicylic acid - purple tinge azo-u-naphthylamine red brown brown brown p-aminosalicylic acid reddish azo-p- cresidin orange copper brown brown The method is particularly suitable for the production of Sogabatic articles. This is produced in the present case by dyeing fabrics with reserves of wax in a cold dye bath and then treating them with the metal salts mentioned at 50 to 60 degrees, whereupon the wax reserves are drawn off by boiling water. The new process allows coloring to be achieved while conserving the wax reserve, which completely withstands boiling with water when the reserve is removed and which is to a high degree soap and lightfast.
