Description

Gegenstand vorliegender Anmeldung ist ein flammbeständiges Isolationsmaterial, das sowohl als Prefabrikat in dafür ge­ eigneten Formen hergestellt werden kann oder auch als Isolations-Schicht direkt auf die zu isolierende Fläche (z. B. Verkleidung von Kaminwänden etc.) aufgetragen werden kann.
Zunächst wird eine Mischung aus einem Zement vulkanischen Ursprungs, Kalk und Sand hergestellt, die danach mit einem für diese Zwecke besonders geeigneten Flammschutzmittel angereich­ ert wird.
Diese Mischung kann bei Bedarf zwecks weiterer Oberflächen­ festigung mit Kork, Sägespänen, Korund o.a. Materialien zusätz­ lich beschickt werden.
Bei der darauf eintretenden, chemischen Reaktion und dem an­ schließenden Trocknungsprozeß entsteht eine belastbare Iso­ lationsmasse, die entweder in diversen Formen eingegossen werden kann oder - als Isolations-Schicht direkt auf die zu isolierenden Flächen aufgetragen werden kann.

Claims (1)

  1. Flammbeständiges Isolationsmaterial, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß
    • 1) es sowohl als Prefabrikat in dafür geeigneten Formen hergestellt werden kann oder als Isolations-Schicht direkt auf die zu isolierenden Flächen (z. B. Kamin­ auskleidungen etc.) aufgetragen werden kann,
    • 2) eine Mischung aus einem Zement vulkanischen Ursprungs Kalk und Sand hergerichtet wird, die danach mit einem für diese Zwecke besonders geeigneten Flammschutzmittel an­ gereichert wird,
    • 3) bei der darauf eintretenden, chemischen Reaktion und dem danach stattfindenden Trocknungsprozeß eine belast­ bare Isolationsmasse entsteht, die entweder in diversen Formen (als Prefabrikat) eingegossen werden kann oder als Isolations-Schicht direkt auf die zu isolierenden Flächen aufgetragen werden kann,
    • 4) diese Mischung gemäß Pkt. 2 - bei Bedarf zwecks weiterer Oberflächenfestigung mit Kork, Sägespänen, Korund o. a. Materialien zusätzlich beschichtet werden kann.
