Abstract

The pool covering material, of a number of floatable sections, uses plates of foamed polymers, pref. of polyethylene or polypropylene, resistant to the liq. and chemicals contained within the pool, as well as any physical forces imposed on them. The edges (2) and corners (3) of the plates (1) are rounded. USE/ADVANTAGE - The plates are for covering swimming pools and the like, to reduce the cooling or heating or evapn. of the water and to prevent evapn. or to prevent smell emerging from the contained liq. The plates are easily used to cover large water surfaces, are resistant to chemicals in the water, and withstand any physical forces. They can also be locked together to cover only part of the surface, leaving the remainder of the pool available for use.

Eine weitere Beseitigung der beschriebenen Nachteile geschieht gemäß Anspruch 2 dadurch, daß die Platten (1) eine flüssigkeits verträgliche farbliche Beschichtung haben.
