Description
The invention relates to catching elements for sand and other sedi ment particles to prevent or contain sand walls rations, especially erosions in significant water flows exposed coastal or coastal zones.
Sandy coasts are subject to constant change, be especially due to the coastline caused by the surf electricity. The riparian zones are subject to similar stresses flowing inland water. By using the coastal area In many places, rich and river banks will preserve the be standing condition or land reclamation. For Influencing sand migration or other transportation Suspension particles have been varied in the past Measures tried without unanimous opinion so far it was a resounding success. It may, for example, on DE-OS 20 57 141, the euro European Patents 0 018 082, 0 048 069 and U.S. Patent 3,299,640 be pointed out. They show anchoring equipment for floating threads or tapes and mats for Covering endangered water bottoms. In all cases the natural ones required for environmental protection reasons Materials not used. It has also been shown that floating threads or tapes are unable to sedimentation, especially sand deposits, when large to ensure ren flow rates. This Ma materials have very little stiffness, so that they flatten out even at relatively low speeds lay on the water floor. You will then practice a pas protection against erosion, but do nothing or only slight active influence in the sense of a sand trap direction.
Sie be einflussen teilweise Wasserströmungen ungünstig. To prevent the formation of eruptions or such to close, it is also known to use machines those that are either well-trough-shaped Close washouts or as local reinforcements should prevent the emergence. To protect large areas However, they are not suitable for coastal areas. Fascines are also not able, certainly new, to others to prevent leaching occurring in the place. You be partially adversely affect water flows. Often form in the direction of flow behind the machines bel, which are a cause of new outflows. A positive one Sand balance, that is the ratio of the landing to the abtra machine is not used for large areas by machines secured. It is known to be directed against erosion To arrange measures over a large area on the body of the water However, permanent attachment is a very significant one Problem.
The object of the invention is to catch elements after the einlei tend to create a generic term for a large-scale use to prevent or contain Sand walks are suitable.
The invention for solving this problem is characterized by the characterizing features of claim 1. In the It has created a flow-damping zone (forest) It has been shown that natural branches provide the necessary rigidity to resist the current. It is but also elastic, so that the negative Ef effects (eddy excitation) remain small. The concrete feet point preferably rounded shapes. Particularly cheap here for have hemispherical or conical shapes with one rounded end resting on the ground. In ver search in the current and wave channel has shown that a random, i.e. irregular, arrangement works better, as a regular arrangement. Because the flow through each Obstacle is disturbed and behind it (swirling sediment) Vortex forms, the vortex areas unite with rule moderate arrangements easily. Through irregular arrangements this negative effect is avoided and an in the surface achieves uniform flow damping. On favorable side effect of this hydraulic requirement In a naturally loose, irregular situation, that's one fold overboard of the elements, making it extremely one are deployable.
Through the invention even at higher speeds bush or shrubbery protruding into the current the speed in the area close to the sole diminishes. As a result of the weakened drag of the water causes a part of its sediment load to fail.
Practical investigations in the current and wave channel have shown to prevent erosion and landings were observed directly behind the test specimens, so that the sand balance reached a positive value. Here is to emphasize the arbitrary arrangement of the test specimens. It allows spreading without much technical help by simply throwing it overboard. The concrete feet with their Flags made of shrubbery reach the bottom of the water in the desired, correct position.
Particularly noteworthy are the heap-shaped or spherical, or conical formations of the concrete feet that have no or generate only slight eddies and therefore in particular are suitable for coastal protection and seabuilding. Cone shaped feet, with their feet facing the bottom of the water, rounded ends do not rest rigidly on the floor, but can bounce back and forth due to the influence of the sea because of and therefore constantly work upwards. A flood is avoided. In this way, the invention Elements able to their natural resolution, d. H. over long periods of time to exert their effect. Furthermore, all the elements examined are suitable, by the Trapping sand and other sediment particles themselves so largely to sand that caused by concrete feet Vertebrae show no negative effects. The fiction contemporary sand trap elements are also not only for Coastal protection and protection of riparian zones are suitable as they develop an effect comparable to that of beach grass and thereby supporting the growth phase of the beach grass.
The flow investigations carried out in the test channel were carried out both with and without waves. Here equivalent results have been shown. The sand trap So elements can be used both for areas that have are mainly exposed to the waves, as well as for banks Zones can be used, mainly due to a longitudinal flow be claimed.
Exemplary embodiments of the invention are shown in the drawing shown schematically and explained below.
Es zeigen:Show it:
Fig. 1 ein Fangelement mit einem im wesentlichen an allen Seiten abgerundeten Betonfuß, Fig. 1 is a catching element with a substantially rounded on all sides concrete base,
Fig. 2 ein Fangelement mit einem halbkugeligen Betonfuß und Fig. 2 is a catch element with a hemispherical concrete base and
Fig. 3 ein Fangelement mit einem kegeligen Betonfuß. Fig. 3 is a catch element with a conical concrete base.
In the rounded in essentially all areas Be tonfuß 1 is brushwood 2 tuft-shaped, but in loose order, attached to secure against tearing. As a result, the flow is delayed to such an extent that grains of sand carried in it can sink to the bottom 3 and the concrete base itself largely sands.
In the sand trap element according to FIG. 2 twigs 2 is in the same relaxed, a natural vegetation approximate arrangement to tearing in a hemispherical concrete base 4 anchored ver. Here, too, eddies on the concrete base are largely avoided. The delayed flow again leads to the settling of sand or other suspension particles.
The concrete base 5 according to Fig. 3 shows a conical shape with a rounded portion 6 at its lower end. Instead of a bush-like shrubbery or brushwood according to FIGS. 1 and 2, a tree, for example a young spruce, 7 , has been used here as a flow delay. It is secured in the concrete foot 5 with its end on the basis of being pulled out. This embodiment is particularly suitable for coastal zones exposed to the waves with brief changes in flow direction. The concrete base 6 is able to follow the changing flow directions with pivoting movements. If the sand balance is positive, the entire element is able to move upwards with the growing soil. This means that it cannot be sanded in, or not so quickly, which would gradually, prematurely, lose its effect.
Worth mentioning is the environmentally friendly effect of the Zer disruption or dissolution of the sand trap elements in their individual parts. The shrubbery is subject to a gradual rise dissolution process in its natural components. The concrete consists mainly of calcium and sand aggregates and thus also from natural material, which is under the Bran gradual effect. In deeper areas who the concrete bodies slowly and similarly larger stones sand. With gradually waning effect one out sand trap elements according to the invention formed underwater forest, a renewal is necessary because of the new setting sand trap elements is feasible. For this ge it is sufficient to deposit the elements in particularly endangered areas range, d. H. the entire renewal of large areas inside half shortest time is not necessary. Not only that Spreading and settling on the endangered water bottoms is technically extremely simple, but also that Manufacture of sand trap elements in very large quantities no difficulties.
