In Strichmanier ausgeführte Bilder, Federzeichnungen, Stiche, Radierungen usw. ließen sich bislang, wenn man einwandfreie Abdrucke erhalten wollte, nur mittels Handdruckes herstellen. Will man dieVervielfältigung, um größere Leistungen zu erzielen, im Rakeltiefdruckverfahren vornehmen, so ist es unbedingt erforderlich, daß bei den genanntenVervielfältigungsgegenständen dieeinzelnen Striche rastriert sind. Nimmt man nun hierzu den bisher bekannten Kreuzlinienraster oder einen ähnlichen, so werden die Linien an den Konturen je nach der Lage des jeweiligen Striches in der Zeichnung durch den Raster sägezahnartig zerhackt oder doch so deformiert, daß das Bild in der Vervielfältigung unschön wirkt und keinesfalls den Anforderungen entspricht, wie man sie an einen Kunstdruck stellt. Da die Linien einer Strichzeichnung ganz unregelmäßig verlaufen, ist es bei der Vervielfältigung mittels eines Kreuzlinienrasters oder eines ähnlichen auch durchaus nicht zu vermeiden, ,daß stets ein ganz ausgeprägtes Moire auftritt.Process for the printable decomposition of executed in line style Images and the like for doctor blade gravure printing.
