Schlafwagen. Bei den Schlafwagen der Eisenbahnen geht bekanntlich
das Bestreben dahin, eine. möglichst große Anzahl von Betten in einem Wagen von
gegebener Länge unterzubringen. Die übliche Anordnung ist die, daß schmale Abteile
gebildet werden, in denen auf der einen Seite zwei Schlafplätze übereinander eingerichtet
werden können., wobei beide quer zur Fahrtrichtung liegen. Man hat neuerdings auch
versucht, durch besondere Gestaltung der Einzelabteile eine bessere Raumausnutzung
zu erzielen, wobei gelegentlich auch von der üblichen Anordnung der Schlafplätze
quer zur Fahrtrichtung abgewichen wurde. Diese Bestrebungen hatten jedoch leinen
Erfolg, da die Bauart der Abteile überaus verwickelt wurde und nur geringe Bequemlichkeiten

Die Erfindung betrifft die Anordnung der Abteile und Schlafplätze

in dem Ausbau die Wascheinrichtung u. dgl. befindet, und die Abteile sind derartig
angeordnet, daß, bei je zwei nebeneinanderliegenden der vorerwähnte Ausbau einmal
an der äußeren und einmal an der inneren Seite liegt, so daß, wie dies in ähnlicher
Weise bei den ,älteren Abteilformen schon bekannt war, die Gesamtlänge von zwei
