Selbsterregte Gleichstrommaschine mit stark veränderlichem Magnetfluß. Bei selbsterregten Gleichstromdynamos für in weiten Grenzen veränderliche Spannung, allgemein bei selbsterregten Dynamos für stark veränderlichen magnetischen Fluß, muß Vorsorge getroffen werden, daß die Spannung auch beim niedrigsten Fluß stabil bleibt. Die Spannungscharakteristik muß deshalb derart gestaltet werden, daß innerhalb des Regelbereiches Proportionalität zwischen Ankerspannung und Erregerstrom vermieden wird. Dies ist der Fall, wenn mindestens ein Teil des. magnetischenKreises als magnetischer Isthmus ausgebildet und so bemessen ist, daß er bereits durch den niedrigsten für die Reglung erforderlichen Fluß gesättigt wird. Damit hierbei die Durchflutung des magnetischen Kreises bei höherem Fluß nicht unzulässig vergrößert wird, muß dem Isthmus, wie bereits bekannt, ein magnetischer Nebenschluß in Form eines Luftweges parallel geschaltet werden, welcher bei steigendem Fluß den Isthmus entlastet.
