Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft einen Zerstäuber, welcher für flüssige und halbflüssige Stoffe bestimmt ist, eine verhältnifsmäfsig grofse Menge derselben zu zertheilen vermag und einen selbstthätigen Verschlufs der Austrittsöffnungen beim Nichtgebrauch besitzt. Die unter Druck aus der Pumpe oder dem Druckrohr X austretende Flüssigkeit dringt durch die Oeffnungen e des Rohres α zwischen dieses und den Schlauch/, und da der so gebildete Hohlraum nach unten hin abgeschlossen ist, so mufs die Flüssigkeit durch den entsprechend dem herrschenden Druck sich erweiternden ringförmigen Schlitz nach oben in dünner Schicht herausgeprefst werden. Sie trifft dann den Flantsch c und zerstäubt an demselben.
