Als Stäubemittel waren bisher nur solche Substanzen mit Erfolg verwendbar, die schon an sich gut haften, da ein das Haften vermittelnder Stoff nicht bekannt war. Es konnte somit eine ganze Reihe guter Fungizide und- Insektizide wegen ihrer geringen Haftfähigkeit sich als Stäubemittel nicht einführen.
