Die Herstellung von Holzwolle aus Rundholz, welches für diesen Zweck allein gekauft und auf Holzwollemaschinen verarbeitet wird, ist bekannt. Man hat hierzu nur Rundholz von kleinerem Durchmesser und meistens geringer Länge, etwa bis -zu z m, verwendet. Starkes Rundholz dagegen, also solches mit größerem Durchmesser und einer Länge von etwa 3 m aufwärts, wird zu Balken, Bohlen und Brettern verarbeitet, wobei als Nebenprodukt sogenanntea Spreißelholz abfällt.Process for the production of planks, boards and the like from round wood.
