Abstract

(C) of resin (B) and styrene, pelletising the mixt. and moulding in a hydraulic press at elevated temp. and pressure. Also claimed is a mixt. of 10-70% (A) and 90-30% resin (B) (with polymerisation hardeners, accelerators, retarders etc.), or of 10-70% (A), 10-30% styrene and 60-20% resin (B). USE/ADVANTAGE - The process enables complete recycling of the above waste prods. (I) (instead of disposal by burning), to give new prods. contg. less styrene than the original prods., using smaller amts. of hardeners etc. as above. The new prods. are useful in the motor industry (roof lining, sound insulation etc.) and in the timber prods. and furniture industries etc.

Description

Es ist bekannt, daß die Abfälle und Ausschußteile von mit gehärtetem ungesättigtem Polyester beschichteten Filz- und Juteerzeugnissen bisher kein gebräuchliches Verfahren zur Wieder­ verwendung haben. Die Entsorgung dieser Erzeugnisse ist ein großes Problem, da diese zur Zeit nur durch Verbrennung erfolgt. Aber die Verbrennung von Styrol und styrolischen Verbindungen entwickelt zahlreiche Gase, die die Atmosphäre verschmutzen und somit belasten. Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Verfahren nach den Ansprüchen 1 und 2, in dem Abfälle und Ausschußteile von mit gehärtetem ungesättigtem Polyester beschichteten Filz- und Juteerzeugnissen mit entfernten metallischen Teilen, nach einer Zerkleinerung in Schneide-, Schlag- und Prallmühlen bis zu einer Korngröße von 60-700 µm mit einem frischen ungesättigten Polyesterharz oder einer Mischung von ungesättigtem Polyesterharz und Styrol behandelt werden. Das Polyesterharz enthält Zusätze für die Polymerisierung (Härter, Beschleuniger, Verzögerer usw.). Die so erzielte Mischung wird in einer Tablettieranlage in einem Temperaturbereich von 20-80°C tablettiert. Die Formmasse oder die Tabletten werden in einer Presse für Duroplastmaterialien (Temperaturbereich 120-160°C und Druck 100-400 bar) gepreßt. Die mit der Erfindung erzielten Vorteile bestehen insbesonders darin, daß die mit gehärtetem ungesättigtem Polyester beschich­ teten Filz- und Juteabfälle und Ausschußteile hundertprozentig wiederverwendet werden können und somit die Verbrennung dieser Erzeugnisse vermieden werden kann. Die auf diese Weise erzielten neuen Produkte enthalten weniger Styrol als die initiellen Erzeugnisse. Verfahren zur Wiederaufbereitung von mit gehärtetem ungesättigtem Polyester beschichteten Filz- und Juteerzeugnissen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die mit gehärtetem ungesättigtem Polyester beschichteten Filz- und Juteabfälle und Ausschußteile mit entfernten metallischen Teilen in einer Korngröße von 60-700 µm zerkleinert werden, um ein Mahlgut (A) zu erzielen, daß dieses danach mit ungesättigtem Polyesterharz (B) oder mit einer Mischung (C) aus ungesättigtem Polyesterharz und Styrol behandelt wird, daß anschließend die so erzielte Mischung tablettiert wird, daß die Tabletten oder die pulverförmige Mischung aus (A) und (B) oder aus (A) und (C) in hydraulischen Pressen unter Druck und Temperatur gepreßt werden.1.
