Abstract

The isntallation (1) is used for storing tools and similar articles over a period of several days. It consists of frames which support horizontal shelves (2) mounted one above another. Each row of shelves is separated from the other rows by a gangway with the support beam (3) for an overhead crane mounted above the middle of each gangway. Each shelf can be pulled outwards into the gangway by a distance equal to half the width of the shelf. The tools (4) can then be placed on the projecting part of the shelf by the crane. The shelf is then retracted inside its supporting frame. The tools or other goods may be either loose or placed in pallets. USE/ADVANTAGE - Storage system with easy access to shelves.
