Die auf der anderen Arbeitsfläche des Ringes io angeordneten Stifte treten in entsprechende Bohrungen der Mitnehmerscheibe 12 des Gehäuses ein, sobald eine entsprechende Verschiebung der Stange i i nebst Ring io stattgefunden hat. Dies hat den Vorteil, daß bei Schwenkung des Suchscheinwerfers in senkrechter Ebene, während also der Kuppelring io mit der Mitnehmerscheibe 12 des Gehäuses in Eingriff steht (Abb. 4.), gleichzeitig eine Sperrung der Schnecke 22 erfolgt. Anderseits ist es bei einer durch Längsverschiebung der Stange i i zu bewirkenden Lösung des Kuppelringes io aus der Mitnehmerscheibe 12 nicht nötig, erst eine Eingriffsstellung für die Kuppelstifte in der Schnecke zu suchen, wie bei der Ausführung nach dem Hauptpatent. Auf diese Weise ist es möglich, bei Anordnung von z. B. drei Kuppelstiften 21 sechs Bohrungen in der Mitnehmerscheibe 12 anzubringen (Abb. i), so daß im äußersten Falle 1/12 Drehung nötig ist, um einen Eingriff zu erreichen zwecks Schwenkung des Suchscheinwerfers in senkrechter Ebene.The coupling ring io, which is fixed on the coupling rod ii, which can be displaced by means of a handle, is equipped on both work surfaces with coupling pins 21, of which the pins working together with the worm 22 of the transmission gear are dimensioned so long that they can be in any position of the rod ii or the ring io protrude into the snail.
